Found this gem on my holiday in the Cotswolds.
Bought some extremely beautiful
and delicious quiches and pastry on the day before last of this business. Friendly owner who I hope will one day set up camp near my home. Enjoy the well earned rest.

So, here we are almost one year after sampling Carl’s amazing pastries. My son, daughter and I STILL text each other photos of the pastries we bought at your place. And, STILL the best bakery I have ever been to! THE BEST BAKERY IN THE WORLD!!
Really amazing place! Everything is baked and served by the one person, who works very hard and trained at La Gavroche in London, and had also worked in Paris. We initially ordered a cake each and a drink, and then ended up ordering another cake each! They are delicious. A treat for the taste buds!
We love this place and always visit whenever we plan a trip to the Cotswolds.

I would have posted photos, but. I ate the pastries they were gorgeous, the egg tart, had the thickest filling ever, with lovely pastry surrounding it.
My partner had the éclair, with chocolate filling, she said it is the best thing she has ever put in her mouth.
