What a lovely pub down by the River Severn. Had such a nice afternoon - lunch in the pretty secret garden at The Windlass Cafe just around the corner (great food) finished off with a couple of ciders sat o/s The Angel in the evening sunshine. Bliss!

All lovely and clean. Bar staff very nice and happy to help bring the drinks outside. Wasn't busy but they had ran out of large wine glasses for our second drink

Fab Riverside pub, great food choices. Reasonable prices. Sitting outside watching the river flow past, occasional boats of many varieties. Very friendly staff, order inside and your food is delivered to your table. Small car park.

Nice, older style pub. Very Victorian on the inside of the ā€˜Georgian Loungeā€™ (only room I was in). Other rooms, upstairs & accommodations were advertised. Local pub for locals by the looks of it as itā€™s off the beaten path. Lovely tables outside on the river Severn. Iā€™ll bet itā€™s a gorgeous place for a pint in the summer! Dog friendly, my two enjoyed sprawling out in front on a large black grate with logs burning on a very drizzly grey day. Everyone was friendly to speak to & bar keeper was lovely. Will definitely go back & soon :)

Came with my Dad and brother for Sunday lunch. Food was amazing (especially the roast potatoes). Pub has a comfy atmosphere and is cleaned well. Staff were very accommodating. Weā€™ll definitely be back

Lovely landlord and landlady, brought me out an excellent pint of bitter as I didn't want to go inside with my dog. I felt very welcome šŸ˜

We only stopped for a pint. It's a lovely old pub in a superb location. Easy walkingto Stourport locks. Good walks along the Severn Way.

Love sitting out by the river on a sunny day. Nice choice of drinks. Nice inside, with some rooms to stay over too and enjoy the lovely surroundings too it. (No I don't mean the fair!) Big, quiet rear beer garden too.

This pub is location, location, location. It's a short walk down (up?) the river from Stourport basin, and is right on the banks of the Severn. It's lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. There is seating inside, but I've only ordered from the bar area and taken my drinks back outside, possibly like most people. The bar is smaller than my living room ( which isn't big). It's clearly a family affair and the family dogs roam around the bar and grounds. It's supremely relaxed, and cosy. Though it almost feels like you're intruding in someone's house! The vibe outside is great and there's a mix of tourists, families and bikers. Great. Go if you can, it's worth it.

Impromptu visit with family (6) and the dog on a Sunday. Friendly staff, quick service - great value for money on Ā£10 (ea.) Sunday lunch deal. Lovely food, loads of different veg (I had pork and beef). Topped off with a cracking Yorkshire Pudding šŸ‘ Will definitely call in again.
