Stopped for a meal and a couple of pints while on a canal boat trip, the beer was excellent (Butty Bach and Town Crier) but they had stopped serving food so a bag of peanuts had to do

A lovely pub by the canal nice for a summers evening, On last visit was a little disappointed as they'd stopped serving food at just before 1 o'clock.

Welcoming staff and locals, superb location on the canal bank, a short stroll down the foot path to the town centre, we will definitely be going back.

Nice little pub by the canal, with canalside seating aswell as a grassed beer garden! Worth a stop when walking along the canal!

Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Good beers and range of gins. Allows dogs which is a big bonus. Hadn't time for food but having seen it served up will definitely be back to try the food.

Short walk down the canal from Stourport and a hidden gem awaits you. Great traditional pub with a big sun trap all the way round.

Great place to stay right nxt to canal

I feel that I must offer a different point of view to previous reviews. Yesterday, we visited the pub whilst visiting our cousin on his boat. The staff were absolutely wonderful- the lunch food was well priced; the thick ham sandwich and the cheesy chips were excellent - Thank you

Clean, friendly,kids & dogs welcome, reasonably priced pub. Can enjoy a lovely beer garden or sit out the front by the canal watching the world go by.

Haven't been in for a long time , heard that new landlord taken over and Euro football was showing so decided to give it a visit. Will be back soon , friendly pub great beer , well worth a visit and right by the canal so ideal for walkers , boaters and cyclists.

We had a lovely stroll along the old railway track a couple of weeks ago, from Torton, over the top of Wilden, and ended up coming off a bridge, and walked along the canalside, to the Bird In Hand. We only had drinks, this time, and sat outside, admiring the beautiful view, but the service was good,

Excellent location, excellent food, excellent beers and lovely staff. I would highly recommend!!
