Me and my family travelled to here as we were recommended this by a friend called tash. We decided on a whim to travel here and this may be the best fish and chips I have ever had. The staff were super super friendly and also ended up meeting one of the honestly who was a lovely lovely mother and even spoke with her son. Her son was a very kind person who also gave great recommendations.
If you're ever in the area make sure to come here! Best food establishment in the town.

We went here with our celiac son for tea and they were so accommodating it was amazing. Chips and chicken kebab meat were delicious, thank you
Stopped using this chip shop because standard had dropped but had chips last night glad to say its back to its best well done

Nice fish and chips. Little bit expensive. . Lacking in deals . . .kids wanted fish and chips but unfortunately . . No children's fish and chips (mini fish or fish bites) on menu. . .Only fish cake. . . So had to get the kids a 'normal' mini fish and chips at £7 odd each . Saying that it was very nice.
Excellent food and very reasonably priced. We took a large family of 8 in today, staff were friendly and efficient at dealing with a large order. Happy children and parents!

My wife and I visited the River Side bar on a trip from Wolverhampton and we both agree that they were the best chips we had had in a long time 😋 Young girl seemed shy 🤭 but very pleasant and helpful. Thank you River Side Bar
We waited 5 minutes for fresh chips and oh boy best iv had so far. We would recommend this chip shop to anyone. The guys working there where so polite and great customer service. We had children meet and chips. The chicken was perfect and loads of it.
We get take away meals from here perhaps 4 or 5 times a month.
We usually arrive away from peek time so we know we are likely going to wait a few minutes but that is because our fish is being cooked fresh - that's how we like it and it has always been worth the wait.
Never once had a below par fish and the chips here have always been good.
Added to the good food you are only a one minute walk away from sitting by the riverside to eat them.
Can't praise this place enough. The staff were so helpful to the point of us starting to wonder if we were on some kind of hidden camera sketch show. But no! It was just their incredible customer service. That would be good enough in itself but the fish and chips are also fantastic! Excellent value and they take payment cards too. We'll definitely go back when we get the chance 👍
