Dropped in for a meal in the Lounge bar and tried some of the offerings on the "Light Bites" menu two courses for £8 and it proved tasty and excellent value. A really quaint village pub, located in an idealistic setting. The owners, staff and locals, are always so welcoming and friendly. They also used to run a Bed & Breakfast, although I'm not quite sure, if this is still the case, so better check beforehand, but it was always well maintained and fully
What a lovely meal we had here. I had the Sirloin steak, and my wife had the fish pie. Both were excellent, and the steak was cooked perfectly rare, as requested. Beer was great and the service was very friendly and prompt. I would certainly recommend this as somewhere to stop for some food or beer

I don't really want to give away this secret little gem but I have to! Old fashioned country pub with a log burner and sofa's in one corner, a fabulously designed bar in the other, with just a few tables in the middle. So cosy and cute. Then out came the food..... remember not to eat for the whole d
