Very tasty, amazing food, healthy portions, and attentive service, I went full on Nepalese from starter through to desert. The Nepalese lager Everest, and Gurkha hit the spot. Very reasonably priced for a group of 6. Would definitely recommend. Free Parking available 30-40 yards away.
Had a really good meal here on a Saturday night. Group of 9 of us, we pre ordered and everything went smoothly. Very friendly service, fantastic food!! Would recommend highly!
First time I had visited The Yak and will absolutely be going back. The restaurant is set back from the high street in a lovely place and inside was a beautiful setting. The food was amazing with the choice of Nepalese or their twist on an Indian. I had the lamb starter which was delicious and the Piro curry which is a madras strength. The tastes were incredible. The staff and the atmosphere at The Yak were great, just what you expect from a nice restaurant which you don't always get. Great experience, great food, great staff, great place and would highly recommend. They even bought me a cake and candle for my birthday which we didn't ask for!!

A wonderful restaurant. From the inviting decor, the lovely aroma as you near the building and the kind, friendly staff, to the delicious food, I loved all of it! Tonight was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last!

Visited on Tuesday night. Warm welcome from staff. The food while a little more than some places is more than worth it. Great choice on the menu. Both myself and my guest thought the food was exceptional. Will be returning again.
Oh my! I had spinach and potato dish. The flavour was insanely delicious. Hubby ordered puro (spelling?) chicken. Absolutely delicious food. Great service and restaurant immaculate

Comfortable, smart casual restaurant, appealing to a wide demographic. Twenty something's to seventy something, everyone is warmly welcomed .
As for the food. Very good quality, good presentation, and the most important thing : Tasty ! This was my first visit. Will definitely be going again.

First time this evening to this restaurant.
On arrival was greeted by beautiful decor on the ground floor. The restaurant is on the first floor. At the restaurant door was greeted by a waitress who took out name and then escorted us to our table.
My seat was stained which was a disappointment considering the beautiful decor.
The manager greeted us with main and drinks menu and asked if there was any allergies but despite my allergy this restaurant was not prepared to help. Luckily my medicine would help later. We ordered our drinks and meals and was not long before food arrived. Food was delicious. Lovely chunks of children in the Korma and sauce was just right texture.
A little on the expensive side for portion size but putting aside stained seat and price, was very enjoyable. Will we return? Highly possible.
