I don't know about the other reviews on here but I've always been satisfied with the quality of the food, customer service and their prosecco is the best I've tasted anywhere. I've been coming here for years as it's my local. I'll keep coming as well.
Met up with some friends, and whilst we were waiting, we ordered some nachos to share and halloumi fries. Both were delicious. Didn't get a picture, though - just one of my drink 🤣
It's a lovely place to go, and will definitely be back
We went for lunch yesterday. The food was classic pub food but absolutely lovely. Really good chef and service was amazing. Great menu. We live near so great for us. I can’t recommend it highly enough
Always a nice place to visit with a chilled out, relaxing atmosphere, good staff and decent beer/steak/coffee/cake. Dog friendly and well recommended. Just wish the chips were handcut and not frozen ones.

fabulous Food, Great Atmosphere and Attentive Service.
the Crabmill was very busy, which is lovely to see, we were told food would be a out 40 minutes, which wasn't an issue, we were offered drinks immediately.
Our food wait was about 30 minutes, the food was hot and fresh on arrival and was very enjoyable.
will definitely return.
Had an amazing meal here Wednesday night. Staff were very friendly and attentive, Sharon and Dan, and the food was delicious. We loved the new menu, especially the new desserts! Will be back soon.
Staff were nice and friendly if somewhat short staffed only 2 on front of house to look after the bar and restaurant. The food was good pub food, I had the mixed grill the rump steak was a bit chewy but tasted good the wife enjoyed her duo of fish main course and caramel waffle dessert. Beer was good, would certainly consider going again.
Irregular visitor. 1st time eating here. Had fish and chips, wife had hunters chicken. Blown away with the quality and service. Would recommend. Definitely be back 👍👍
We booked here on recommendation from a friend. We booked for 20 people for my 50th birthday and we had a great experience.
They asked us to order at the bar in small groups if possible so as not to overload the kitchen, which wasn't a problem at all for us. We didn't have to wait long for the food and it pretty much came out all together. The food was great and we all had something different. No complaints from anyone who was there with the age ranging from 13 to 81.
They had a fantastic selection of drinks and cocktails and service at the bar was always quick, despite the pub being quite busy with other customers.
It was a great experience and I want to say a big thank you to the staff who served us all night and made my celebrations special. (My husband did get their names but lost the paper he wrote them on 🤣 so thank you to whoever served the big rowdy table on 29th June 2023)
Lovely staff super freindly. Food is always good. Very accomodating and always happy to oblige. Comfy atmosphere and is a regular place for us to visit
Used the Crabmill for a few years and can honestly say I'm never disappointed. Eat here regularly because the food is good and reasonably priced, there is a lovely atmosphere and all the staff are pleasant, hard working and eager to assist. What more can you ask for? Oh yes, the entertainment by Connor Hartley last week was fabulous, let's have more... well done Crabmill 10/10 👏
Came here for a Sunday lunch after going to Merry Hill. Was immediately taken by the design - really lovely pub, with great staff and dog friendly to boot!
So the food...oh wow. The Sunday dinner was perfect, with exactly the right mix of veg and tender beef. But the dessert was something else.
I had the roast peach Tarte Tatin - pictured - and I'm not exaggerating when I say it might be the best dessert I've ever had. It's not something I'd ever thought of before but I absolutely loved it.
I've had a really really lovely afternoon here, and can't thank the staff enough - particularly Rachel, the waitress who helped me choose!
Booked 6pm Saturday evening. It was busy, but staff were friendly and attentive.
Food was lovely.. well cooked and generous portions.
I had salt & pepper squid followed by mussels. Both were delicious. Mussels came with sour dough bread and chips (also finger bowl with slice of lemon for messy fingers)
Only down side was the group on the table next to us.. the 5 kids with them were running around, jumping on the furniture and screaming at the top of their voices!
Next time will definitely book a later table.
Perfect pub, can't fault. Food was amazing, as we're staff x
Lovely friendly staff throughout!we enjoyed a lovely 3course meal served with a smile, we will definitely be returning!!would like to thank you all on behalf of Phoenix widows group for making us welcome regards pip Perri.
Great place to catch up with a big group of friends, friendly staff, great location. We did not eat, just drank
First time we have been here, lovely friendly pub.
The menu is quite extensive and all reasonably priced.
Despite being very busy we didn't have to wait long for our food, which was lovely.
I had a Sirloin steak and my wife had Lamb shank.
Both meals cooked beautifully and we're nice and hot.
I had a crumble for desert, which was also very hot, and very nice.
The staff were all very good and the young lad who served us was exceptional, he was the only waiter and was very efficient, nothing was to much trouble.
Highly recommend both the pub and the food.
used this pub for years, food is always consistently good and the team are always very pleasant, they always welcome me like family.
