Superb Sunday night open mic venue. Great stage and sound set up, lovely decor and atmosphere and really welcoming hosts. Done 1 and planning more. A must try for those who love to perform.

Lovely decor and not what I expected.
Sound wise for the bands was spot on & the playlist for the club after was impressive.
Beer prices about the club average at £5 a pop.
Well worth a visit. Support grassroots venues.
Great first floor music venue with a proper stage and sound system. I visited on a well attended Sunday open mic 🎤 Shenanigans session.
Always love this place, seen loads of love music here recently.

Our first visit to Claptrap and we're so cross we haven't been sooner!! Great atmosphere... loved the quirky decor. Peanuts and jelly babies served in China tea cups xx the music was fantastic @truthseekers. Great venue...Highly recommended!!!!

Went for the 'Goth' night Sat 06/5 £5 in decent music with Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division and Echo and the Bunnymen tracks on the play list will look to go to the next one. .
Excellent venue. Reasonably priced drinks, good atmosphere. Mix of events, live bands and DJ themed nights. Much recommended.
What a great place for a drink, to listen to live music and take in a great comedy night. Every evening is different and never disappoints. 5/5
Great atmosphere lovely venue. My son's band performed there at the Sunday open mic. Very professional and sounded amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Cool funky retro quirky tables and chairs and decor. The dance floor was full all night. Every song was a banger. Brilliant. Dead good atmosphere.
Staff were really friendly and nice. It's cash only so make sure you factor that in. If was three quid to get in when we went which bugs me a bit but there you go. We were drunk so we paid to get in work only a little bit of moaning.
On the whole it's fantastic.
Really fun venue. Went there for Halloween and had a brilliant time! The DJ night was brilliant although would advise not to mix fast pace music right into slow but otherwise a great night and tasty cocktails!

Me and my wife recently found this place out. We was very surprised by how good it was. The band The Lost Notes was playing. They were amazing. Highly recommended them. We definitely be coming back on a regular basis
Quirky little venue that gives live musicians a chance. I like the laid back style. Can't comment on the beer as I was driving! Will be going back soon.
