Good quality pub food at a really decent price with a good portion. It has a wonderful selection of different ales.
Had my Mother’s Day lunch there today and have to say it was beautiful home cooked food. would definitely recommend and it was very reasonably priced, no over inflated prices like most places well done guys.

we visit the plough when we can. Never had bad service. Been today to mothers day again didn't let us down. Amazing food and lovely service.

Been to this little pub on multiple occasions. The service has always been outstanding, the staff are lovely, and the food and portion sizes are amazing for the price you pay! Great family pub or one for a drink. I will come again
What a great Pub. I did not realise that this place had such a great range of Beers, took a while to decide! Great staff and a really nice atmosphere in here. Folk music on a Tuesday in the back room, sounded good to me. Opted for the Three Tuns XXX, Worth it! The food menu looks fantastic, 10 choices! Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

This pub deserves more attention than it gets, whenever I go in it seems quiet and I don't understand it's a great traditional pub, the food is bang on the beers good!
Caught it on the news a few ago that the owners of this pub were concerned about the pub trade, we can't let pubs like die folks !

Good selection of beers and wine. Only sat outside the front with the dogs. Had an ale first then wine and bar snacks. Will definitely return. The food looked amazing. I'm sure when we have eaten there it will be a 5 star.

Nice quiet pub, good selection of ales. Decent food which is quick to come out. Not a fancy high end metro bar but well suited to he area and market

Wow!!! Just eaten one of your Roast Beef dinners It was awesome. First time my wife and I have used your takeaway service. What have we been missing.?Everything cooked perfectly and the Beef was out of this world!!!. We both feel it was one of the best meals we have had - ever. Such good value and amazing portions. We are both having a lie down now!!!

We visited on quiz night which was well supported and light hearted. Bar food was excellent value. I had steak pie, chips and peas followed by apple pie for less than £7 (Dec 2018). Great selection of craft ales. Really eclectic mix of curios that adorn the place. Lively and friendly staff. Great evening out.
West here for sunday lunch absolutely fantastic nice big portions lamb meat cooked to perfection vegetables all fresh. Would definitely recommend
Proper old school pubs like this are a dying breed. Traditional and welcoming with a fabulous selection of real ales. It's got antiques dotted all around the pub that just give it that feel of being somewhere homely and friendly. Prices are excellent as well. This is what pubs should be like.
Highly recommended, quirky and good value real ale pub. A real social hub for locals but very welcoming to all. Gets very busy of a weekend and does a strong trade in food (which is reportedly good, though I've not tried it personally).
Always has an excellent selection of beers and offers 1/3 pint taster flights at a very reasonable £3.40 a time.
We have been here before when visiting my brother. A good selection of beers and a wide and varied menu. I had a Chicken tikka and it was very nice and tasty and well cooked. It was good value for money and would definitely go there again.
Good honest fare! A bit of everything available. The food was fantastic. The ale perfect. The service very warm and friendly. Very comfortable. My mother declared it "the best cottaget pie she had ever had" (77 & a northerner!). I shall return witout a doubt.
Great staff. I've come here for years. You'll love their Sunday roast dinners. Utterly fantastic and great value for money. Lovely themed nights with their menu during the rest of the week. Parking available and great interior. Wonderful eclectic mix of old nic naks that inspire conversations to both young and old. You'll be distracted by these nic naks while venturing to and from the toilets... Wonderful place for a drink and Social meet up with friends or family.
