This pub isn't local to us but we wanted to try somewhere different, and were not disappointed. The building and grounds were very nice, and the food was really good, with plenty to choose from on the menu, and reasonable prices all things considered. I had the steak and ale pie which was excellent.
Eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. The menu changes often to give a great selection and the quality of the food is wonderful. Loads of parking and a beautiful building with lots of nooks to turn a large dining area into smaller intimate places to sit and enjoy a meal. Lovely outdoo

Took our dog for a walk around the self guided walk (leaflets in foyer of pub) and then treated ourselves to a Bank Holiday lunch in the dog friendly section of the restaurant. Food good and service good.
First time here, setting inside was first class, service was good, had to wait a while for mains, Starter and main course were both amazing Crab arancini, Game suet pudding were both first class, but dessert, I had waffle not good, I do far better at home. Walked to the this place on a Sunday afternoon and just had a few pints and a bowl of the Parmesan truffle fries, enjoyed it very much so! This is a beautiful pub restaurant set in secluded woodland I would advise to book in advance as it gets very busy staff are always helpful and friendly and food is excellent
Lovely pub/restaurant, great atmosphere and excellent service. Gloria really looked after us and ensured we had a fantastic time for my sons 18th. Food is amazing! Will definitely go back.
