Came for lunch as we were staying in the area. Really impressed by the food - homely and tasty but also very interesting. We had guinea fowl, pork, mullet as well as starters. Lots of yummy vegan and vege options also. Friendly team and a quaint, cosy building. Hope to come back soon.

Small, beamed restaurant which had variety in the menu and not pub grub. The staff were pleasant and efficient.
Both my partner and I made the wrong choice for our main meal, which was well cooked and presented.
No problem parking as there is a short stay cp nearby, opposite the church.
We have been visiting The Old Forge for many years. The food, wines, service, ambience and value have all been outstanding.
More recently, Cathy's son has started a monthly 'Supper Club' at The Old Forge, and my wife and I are regular attendees. The Supper Club is excellent too.

Delightful birthday lunch with warm welcome and delicious food. Flavoursome, interesting combinations of food together with a smooth red wine. Excellent experience.

The Old Forge is an exceptional venue. The food is second to none and the Cathy and the staff are brilliant. The outside catering is fantastic as well always delicious and beautifully presented. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

Exceptional dishes, ambiance, and staff. They should be charging two or three times the price as well. Every time I go, I'm tempted to come back until I've tried everything on the menu.
Everything on every seasonal menu sounds amazing, food and service is fantastic and the value for money is phenomenal.
