Very friendly and well behaved dogs welcomed! Located in the centre of Stornoway by the docks. Lovely and clean with very welcoming staff and environment.
Great little coffee shop. Quick service, fab coffee and friendly staff. I only had toast (which was lovely) others were having waffle stacks which looked amazing.
Really Lovely Cafe, Cosy Athmosphere, Friendly Staff. They do Oat Milk,
But they don't have and any Gluten Free Cakes or Dairy free cakes. they do have Vegan/Vegetarian Friendly options E.g Avocado on Toast, And Yoghurt with Berries
Delicious bacon rolls, really good quality coffee. Great and very efficient service. Lost a point for the background music! That said, I would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.
This is an absolutely delightful cafe, with really delicious food (we had filled bagels and cake) and great coffee and hot chocolate. It also has new and second hand books you can purchase. What more you want!
Very beautiful interieur. 7 tables, we got the last free one around 12 (got a bit quieter afterwards). 4 different cakes and traybakes, the ones we had were superb. Coffee alright. Clean toilet, wheelchair accessable. Child-friendly with high-chair. Very young staff.
Lovely, cosy cafe/ bar. Loved the reupholstered armchairs… Friendly staff even gave our dog a bowl of her own water!
Was directed to this dog friendly coffee shop by a dog unfriendly one. It’s lovely inside, bit of a cross between a coffee shop and a book shop. It only has a few tables / seats. The lighting is dim which is ok if you want to relax with a coffee but not if you want to look at the book you just purchased …
The coffee and the cake were delicious. Served very politely but with no smile. And. There is no indication anywhere that there is a menu. I had cake because that was what was apparently available. Another customer came in after I’d eaten my cake and asked for the menu and ordered sandwiches / bagels. Now, had we been offered a menu, or seen one anywhere ( they seemed to be behind the counter) we would have had a sandwich or something. It’s lovely not to have things pushed on you but guys, you must do yourselves out of a significant amount of revenue.
But, I would go there again.
Dropped in for breakfast. Tidy, relaxed ambience. Prompt and friendly service. Lovely fresh bacon roll and croissants. Coffee needed an extra shot but I do like it strong! Back on the bike well fortified.

Lovely little find. Delicious food and excellent service. The cafe sells books and decor is cosy and welcoming! If you’re in the area it is worth a visit!
With an unassuming exterior, you wouldn’t expect much from No.9 Coffee shop but how wrong you would be. Staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. The coffee is hot and delicious, with a wide variety of homemade cakes. We had a coffee and caramel sponge that was divine.
If you’re in the area, waiting for your ferry or wondering around the town, you should definitely pop in.
Both lovely indoor seating or a great takeaway service. Bring your own coffee cup if you’ve got it too, and help save the planet.
Lovely and very cosy café right by the Harbour. Great place for a coffee or tea and escape the rain. Lots of books, cozy corner and the truffles looked amazing.
Easy to miss, but make the effort. Lovely food, great coffee and nice wee place to sit and chat.
Great coffee shop. Good proper coffee and cake. I have the Avacardo begal which was a treat. If you are lucky you might see the hidden office.
Lovely little cafe, service and food were excellent, but there was no warmth at all from the front of house young lady.
