by FAR the best gelato our family has ever tried, in the uk and multiple other countries! and we go to the newton leys store regularly and can never resist their bakes they have in store that never fail to please, as it’s the only place that does cookie dough in the vacinity. we have never had a bad experience there and will always come back to it! plus the focaccia sandwiches are the fluffiest i have ever tried and every combination has never failed to please!
Me and my friend visited Great Gelato in Newton Leys for a little lunch date and it was incredible! The sandwich was light and fluffy! Loved being given the option to upgrade to a meal deal for a drink & bake. Staff were so so friendly and very efficient 😍 I had the guylian slab bake and omg it was amazing! (Didn’t get a picture because I’d already eaten it 😂)
I chose it because I’d previously had the guylian edible cookie dough that Jo had created the other month - it’s my favourite chocolate and Jo definitely did this chocolate justice with her fabulous bakes 😍
Also I’m biased because of NL book club - but gotta love a local community book swap point! Definitely worth a visit 😍📚
Decided to pay a spontaneous visit to Stony Stratford today and this was the highlight! Also props to the team for a lactose free gelato option that was amazing.
I absolutely love this place!!! I have been and had gelato a few times but over the summer I had an afternoon tea with some family and it was divine. The sandwiches were so tasty and fresh, absolutely spot on! I’m not a huge fan of scones but these were so delicious and soft, the bakes were amazing and the dipping sauce was a nice touch. Then the gelato to finish was perfection! Every aspect of the afternoon tea was such high quality, we all loved it. It was also great to have such a range of unusual teas to choose from, I’m not really a tea drinker but I tried the apple cinnamon one. Definitely will be coming again at some point to try some desserts (I live in Birmingham so it’s not even close to me but it’s worth working into the journey to my in-laws!)
Absolutely delicious. Fantastic variety and some mouth watering flavours! Cater for all tastes and have a selection for vegans to, which also great for people with allergies like us.

It's great to have such a wonderful place so close where we can pop for a treat and not have to worry about whether my daughter, who has multiple allergies, can eat or not. Thank you for providing a place where she can safely eat a treat that doesn't taste like cardboard.

The most delicious gelato and staff are super friendly. Tried pretty much every flavour and not been disappointed. Had coffee and sandwich for the first time this week and can highly recommend.
visited today & wasn’t disappointed! we visited quite late in the day so we weren’t expecting much to be left… but 4 flavours were still available and lots of cakes/cookies to try. the terrys chocolate orange & the pistachio flavours did not disappoint! 😊🍨
Incredible little ice-cream and cake shop! Delicious cookie dough! Lovely stuffed brownies. Great addition to the high street and always served with a smile.
Popped in today and had a Focaccia Sandwich for lunch. Picked our own fillings and it was delicious. The bread was freshly baked too. Would highly recommend.
Great place for gelato in MK! Quality over quantity when it comes to flavours. The flavours offered are all very distinct and delicious! Can try a small spoonful before committing to buying. Great place to spend a lazy Sunday.
