Discovered this place while going for a walk. The menu looks amazing and I've to come with my family for a proper meal. We just enjoyed coffees on the outside decking area. The staff was lovely especially the lady who served us the coffees. Oh! And you get some lovely homemade tablets with your coffee.
The menu is ala carte as well as fixed.
Food was fabulous. What let it down was the fact there was only one member of staff dealing with the bar and restaurant so service was a bit slow. Attention to detail needed with regards to the cleanliness of the cutlery and glasses
The scallops are to die for - the best I eat it. Every time I ordered fish is so tasty! I like the fact is the only place I said I want vegetables instead of any carbohydrates and the vegetables are cooked amazing. I just wait for next time. I even take away what was unfinished at our table - it was way too good to go to garbage. Please keep going to cook this amazing food guys!
Our second visit after a lengthy absence. Didn't realise it had been so long, but COVID, etc ...
Anyway, excellent starters and main courses, reasonably priced and helpful, friendly staff (run ragged when we were there but taking it in their stride). Will be back a bit sooner next time.
Another amazing family meal tonight. Great choice of drinks and a varied menu that caters for all - carnivore, vegetarian or vegan.
I had the monkfish and it was cooked to perfection. Staff are great and always pay attention to the kids too. Cannot recommend enough!!
2 Mussels starters, masala mussels in photo. Both absolutely brilliant. Followed by the Stack burger with triple cooked chips. Great food and nice "7 Giraffes" IPA too. We will definitely be going there again.
Never had a bad meal here yet. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food fantastic! Picture I'd of the duck and pigeon which was delicious. Went for a meal with friends who were there for first time and they were thoroughly impressed too!

Food varied and well cooked, very friendly service. If I had a criticism, the dining area feels a little cold? The decor that is. Little gem tucked away in Muchals.

This lovely place was recommended by a friend and can say with honesty the staff, venue and food did not disappoint. We arrived early and welcomed by staff. As it was a warm day we opted to wait in the sunshine. We were offered refreshments whilst browsing the menu.
The food was ordered and we decided on sharing starters. A great idea as the pigeon was moist and wonderfully tasty whilst the goats cheese hit a wonderful contrast but the best starter we raved about was the scallops.....they were devine.
Well worth the visit as we plan to return soon with various choices to suit all tastes on the menu.
Great food, you can see and taste that extra effort goes into preparation and serving. Amazing selection and even better staff. Highly recommend, and we will be back for sure!

Lovely menu and lovely staff. We all enjoyed our meal. Tender roast beef a massive burger gorgeous scampi and the best haddock my sister has had in a long time. Definitely recommend The Stack and will be returning soon.
All our food was so good and very tasty, the seafood was delicious. Great atmosphere and great staff. We've always enjoyed this establishment. Keep it up.
This is our favourite restaurant and we visit regularly because there's always something new and exciting on the menu. There's something for everybody, whether you prefer traditional Scottish dishes or want to try something a bit more exotic. We love the Asian inspired dishes. Our favourite starter is the calamari with miso mayo. There's also always a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options.
We got the Japanese Heat @home meal for our anniversary over the weekend. it was amazing. Every bit of it was delicious. My husband who isn't a Cauliflower fan, ate most of it. The steak was fab too actually there was no part of the meal that wasn't worth every mouth full, even my taste buds did a happy dance. I love the concept and it means my husband and I can have a date night and eat amazing food at home and don't have the stress of childcare. Service was great too. Thank you for making our lockdown anniversary amazing.
