Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime so not busy at all. I pedalled past this place on the canal and thought I'd have to give it a try. I was not disappointed. For a new building it has a fantastic old traditional pub decor inside, giving it a very comfortable feel to it. Joules pub so their beers obviously on,but there should definitely be something for everyone. The food was a quality, classic pub menu with a few interesting. I had the brisket loaded fries which were delicious and super filling. My wife had the large fish and chips which she enjoyed. Definitely worth a visit. Would like to come in the summer and sit outside by the canal.

Great pub and brewery. Lovely atmosphere. Parking for cars and boats. Pleasant seating area outside and plenty of seating inside. Great bar, great selection of food and wonderful service. We opted for Sunday roast and they were really good. Portion sizes were excellent. Both the roast beef and pork were well cooked and came with Yorkshire pudding, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, parsnips, roast potatoes and a great gravy. The pork was also served with pork crackling and apple sauce along with a sausage wrapped in bacon. Drinks were great and service was excellent. The girls serving the food and dining area were friendly and helpful and always smiling and happy. There’s a great atmosphere and the sign out front reminding people that it’s hot and to take care for dogs and pets in the sun was really nice to see. Parking is good and spaces are a good size and the location makes it easily accessible to people in Stone and visitors on boats or by car. Highly recommended. We will certainly come back again.

Really nice brewery. It’s a walking distance from where we stayed and we always saw some people sitting outside when we did our daily walk so we decided to drop by for Sunday lunch. We had pork and beef roast and both were really tasty and tender. The pork roast came with pig in blanket and pork crackling, while beef roast came with horseradish sauce. Both had the typical condiments, roasted vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, and yummy thick gravy.. The passionfruit cheesecake with mango sorbet was very refreshing. The brewery is quite big with cozy indoor and outdoor sitting by the canal side. The servers were all friendly and nice. Pricing was reasonable. There had life music playing in the afternoon which was a nice way to finish of a Sunday afternoon… Really nice place and we’ll go back next time we’re in town!

A great place to eat lunch if you are in Stone. The food was excellent and I would recommend the steak pie. There is plenty of seating inside and outside with a great view of the canal. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and the food arrived promptly. I would definitely recommend eating at the Crown Wharf

Great looking pub on the canal with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (and shade available). They have a decent selection of craft beers as well as the usual suspects you'd expect. The food is good value for money, and has a nice range of loaded fries, burgers, mains and light bites at lunch. The portions are a good size too. They were also accommodating for kids, providing highchairs and small plates for lunch.

We were looking for a pub with canal boats... This is the spot. Beautiful scenic area. Handy location. Very roomy pub with great service. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich and a pint. Besides the patio and the canal boats, there is a comfy area to sit by the fireplace. I bet it's great on cold nights.

Went here with a group of friends, including some babies and a dog, for a Sunday roast. The building and atmosphere are great, decent tap choice and we all felt very well accommodated for. The food was good for the price too.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING........ Joules brewery should be awarded for this pub , only nipped in for a few drinks and we were bowled over by the sheer size and quality of this museum like pub like stepping back in time , enormous bar . A few months later we returned for food on a Saturday 5:30 and it was absolutely heaving ,dance music blaring it felt like a completely different place , not complaining by the way and the food was okay ,If your after a fine dining experience this isn't the place . Overall though this is still the best pub around for miles ,in my opinion

Very nice newly built pub but done to compliment the neighbouring heritage centre which has yet to be finished. Great location overlooking the canal and has a decent car park. The only negative is that the view of the buildings from across the canal and boat yard is prettier than the view from the pub. When seated outside all you see is the top of the parked barges. Food looked good although we didn't eat on this visit. A great asset to the town.
