When Stonefield fish bar started serving gluten free fish and chips it was a life changer for me. Being coeliac I wasn’t able to have normal fish and chips and it is fantastic being able to phone an order through and pick up at a time which suits me. The gluten free menu is more extensive than fish

As far as fish and chip shops go, I really like this one. I've ended up going a bit too often, but the food is great and the staff are lovely. Can sometimes have a queue but you can also order in advance.

In our opinion the best fish and chip shop in town. The staff are always super friendly, the portion sizes are big and the food is always of high standard. Only open 4 days a week from Thursday. Can phone in orders. Large portions.
Friendly staff. The small cod fish was beautiful as were the chips. Only small waiting area so you pay and are given a receipt with you order number and can wait outside or inside and the staff call you order out for you to collect.
1st time been to this takeaway and the food was lovely and fresh, the steak pudding was amazing best 1 I've ever tasted, and the Cod was lovely and white and filled the plate, definitely go back when we're in the area

Not used before, stayed at a local hotel and thought we’d try... Has to be the nicest Fish & Chips ever!!! Beautiful fish in crumbs, chips were lovely and tasty. Will definitely use again.
Today was my first visit. The portions were excellent and well cooked but the batter was bland and needs a lot more seasoning to improve the flavour.
I've lived 3 doors away for the fish and chip shop for 24 years now. Really nice folks and great food, liver and onions, chilli, veggie kebabs(all fresh and locally grown veggie) and of course fish n chips. No wonder i stayed so long.
