Absolutely a pleasure to visit. You are served top class food and drink by staff that are genuinely pleased to see you in the Cafe. The Farm Shop stocks local produce of the highest quality as well as home baked breads and pastries. With an excellent Deli counter and Butchers, it makes the Shop well
Nice farm house. Nice experience for strawberry picking. Not considering the entry fee and amount charged for strawberry, experience its self unique and relaxing. Spacious parking, canal side cafe and shop. Flower plants nursery. Shop having unique collection of items, gift items, vegetables and fr
What an amazing day! All the staff were super friendly and the lady offering face painting was lovely. Lots of props throughout the maize maze so great for taking photos. Huge selection of pumpkins and wheelbarrows available, will be going back very soon 😊
The Canalside Farm Shop was well worth the visit. Lots of fresh produce and some amazingly tasty fresh baked cakes, buns and breads. They had a special were you could pick your own strawberries for a pound.
Staff were lovely and friendly and the perfectly ripe fruits go on for as far as the eye can see! People will moan about the £1 entry fee, but seriously..in a world with mounting costs I'm more than happy support quality farming and local business! Will be back when the maze is open ❤
I visited for lunch in August 2023 on a Wednesday in a party of two. Very busy, but we were able to find a table in a few minutes and food arrived in good time. I've visited the cafe and shop many times before and come back because the food is nice and the cost good value for money. Today was no ex
Lovely place to come for breakfast and cakes. The shop has delightful home items in and perfect for that unusual present. In summer they offer strawberry and raspberry picking.
We went to browse for some plants at the garden centre. It's not far from Shugborough Hall. You can do a walk from Shugborough Hall to the Candlside farm, or ride your bike. There is a map inside the cafe showing where you can walk and how long it takes. From a 20 minutes to 90 minutes, depending o
Very great spot for an evening drive out. Wanted to pick strawberry bit was all picked 😕 🥲 Farm shop was great lots in stock and fresh produce My daughter said it was astetically pleasing her senses.
The queue was long and slow, but the service and the food were great. We had the soup, which today was leek and potato, and oatcake with sausage and cheese. Only criticism was that the cheesy fries were a bit of a letdown. The quality of the chips was very good, but the cheese was served in a big lu
Great farm shop near the canal that sells a good variety of local produce. It's connected to there farm cafe that has amazing breakfasts that sell until 11am. The cooking team work very well together so well done. The shop is fairly priced and the sausage rolls are great. All food is fresh ready t
Booked for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. It was amazing. My daughter is gluten free and often gets a raw deal but her afternoon tea was exceptional. We had more than enough food and took loads home as we couldn’t manage to eat it all. Shame we don’t live locally as we would definitely be r
We visited Canalside Farm to take part in the pumpkin picking. What a fabulous evening we had. The selection of pumpkins was outstanding, with multiple fields full of them all shapes all sizes and even colours! We also had food in the cafe which was tasty and great value with lovely hot coffee too
Went for birthday treats. What a lovely idea to have huge meringues by the fresh strawberries. The meringues were delicious, and strawberries so fresh and juicy. Well done to the baker. A great array of cakes and bread. The bread and butter was tasty too.
What a lovely place to visit. There is a gorgeous farm shop selling fresh vegetables, butchers, bakery together with cakes, sweets, biscuits and a good selection of alcohol. They also sell very pretty accessories for the home and lovely plants for the garden. When you have shopped you can relax in t
I could sit on the outdoor decking area with a latte all afternoon watching the world go by along the canal. The Belgian Buns are genuinely larger than the plates. You can pick up postcards that have walks printed on that begin from the cafe and help you to walk off the calories you have eaten!!
