The Fitzherbert Arms - Stone - Photo album

Great meal, great atmosphere we really enjoyed ourselves, we were a little nippy although there was a roaring fire we couldn’t really feel the benefits. Puddling slightly disappointing, rice pudding was a very small portion but great quality and the homemade Strawberry Jam was amazing, my wife also
Food was exceptionally good, as was the ambience. Staff were friendly and helpful even though the place was packed and they were rushed off their feet. I was particularly impressed with how quickly our meals arrived, given how busy they were. Will definitely return - can't wait to try the Sunday ro
Amazing place, I always go in the snug and the food is amazing
This is a really well presented pub. Good selection of real ales and excellent wine list which caters for all tastes. Varied menu. Well cooked ribeye and excellent mushroom risotto. Well worth a visit .
What a really lovely place. Friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly, great atmosphere and delicious food that's worth every penny. Highly recommended!
Visited to celebrate my partner passing his exams. They made it so special and created an amazing pudding for him with ‘congratulations’ written on it! I had a delicious Stilton and walnut pâté for starter and partner had chicken wings - they were both flawless. I had catch of the day for main and h
Delightful country pub with fantastic atmosphere. Pleasant and most helpful staff. Food exceptional with generous portions, especially the Fitzherbert Meat Pie. But traditional Sunday Lunch leaves a lot to be desired. The meat was tough and chunky and tasteless. I hope they’ve changed their choice
Unplanned stopover nearby. Fitzherbert Arms was recommended to us by our host. Very dog friendly pub, food was plentiful and well presented. Prices reasonable too. Staff were friendly and welcoming, highly recommended 👍🏻
Our first visit to the Fitzherbert to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Went on the recommendation of a colleague and we weren't disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome. Good choice of gins for my wife, and a good selection of very well kept ales for me. The food is exce
Mine and my best friends first time here tonight after looking around all week online to find a nice country pub for a catch up. What a place ! The staff are absolutely lovely. Food was amazing and very well priced. The beer garden and interior are both just stunning! We left feeling like we had b
Great place to eat, drink and relax, all accompanied with great food and a worthy Port selection (and I’m Portuguese). Family place, very welcoming.
Brilliant place to eat, had a lovely light lunch here, excellent value for the portion size, and really tasty. The decor was great, full of unique reclaimed and upcycled pieces which gave a really unique and interesting feel to it, great atmosphere, great friendly service. The view out the back woul
Excellent revamp of village pub. Gastro style food, good service - a real boon to the area.
Love the pub for its friendly staff and great food. Never had a bad meal. Keep it up
Searched dog friendly pubs between Manchester and Birmingham and this pub came up. Excellent food, locally sourced. Best fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding I’ve had- could taste the quality and freshness! Came on a busy, Friday night though still managed to get parking in the small lot. Design
I always enjoy coming here. Usually have the famous pie, which I can never finish but it's soo nice. A love how easy and casual the pub is, but if you wanna dress up you can or come for a romantic meal. Highly recommend this pub.
One of the best pub experiences I’ve had in a long time, the staff were all very friendly. But the food (I went for the steak and ale pie) was outstanding! Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area
Lovely food, dog friendly and excellent menu. Only downside is car park is always full
