The Rose And Crown - Stone - Photo album

Lovely old building, pleasant staff, good menu and reasonable prices. We ordered a salad for my wife and I had the steak and ale pie. The salad was excellent, the pie would have been too except it had only been heated properly on one side so I had to leave a good third. Pity. Otherwise I would give
Pre booked for New Year's Eve and we weren't disappointed. My two daughters, wife and I received a friendly welcome and after a quick drink at the bar shown to our table. The staff were relaxed but attentive and the food was excellent. Both daughters chose beef in red wine which they haven't stoppe
Absolutely delicious Jamaican and English food fusion with a good menu. The food was amazing. Great indoor seating, reggae music playing, good children's play area. Minimal parking though. Would have been a full 5 star review if the owners present could have mustered up a smile and also no Red Strip
Loving the food in this up and coming gastro pub. A choice between classic British pub grub (well done) and a taste of Jamaica to spice up your life! Nice atmosphere, old country pub feel with a bit of modern chic. Staff are very friendly and helpful but sometimes service is a bit slow which is n
Probably one of the best pubs in the area. Great food and very nice staff. You'll probably have fun with the people working there as they are genuinely nice people. The food is very nice and they can offer some Jamaican plates or Jamaican infused plates. It has parking and a nice outdoor area, you'l
Came today for a Sunday roast, originally planned to sit outside so didn't book, we sat inside in the end and had no issue getting a table. The food was really good, the jamaican and english combination is amazing. The only criticism we had on the roast was that the beef was a little dry however we
This little place has been transformed into a welcoming village pub. Initial teething problems now behind it, the Jamaican-influenced food is tasty and great value (esp. the set menu). Good outdoor space for eating, drinking and kids play. Keep it up.
Really nice food and friendly waitress will definitely return
Nice place. Looks like it's had a very recent upgrade. The Willy's Brew beer was OK, and the service was quick. The menu looked great but unfortunately the kitchen wasn't open when we went, but I'd go back to try it.
Just popped in for a pint. Have been in this pub on and off for 50 years. There have been many changes and the present occupants have done a very good job of making it a gastro pub . The menu looks very appetizing with a mix of dishes including a west Indian salection of courses. The pint of Guinne
Great little pub. Amazing food and drinks. Great ales.
We had a 5 generation photo shoot, which they very kindly let us use a room, and provided us with a lovely "afternoon tea" consisting if sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, cakes and tea and coffee... they also had an extensive Jamaican Menu as the land lady is Jamaican..
Only went for the jamaican food which was really really good! Also the house brewed ale is amazing. The only problem was a lack of staff the night we went but that's not really a complaint! We'll be back 😉
