Absolutely gorgeous little place. Food is delicious and all well made & presented. Portion sizes are great. Fabulous roast. Set menu option with lots of choice to suit all. A true diamond of a find. Lovely friendly start & decor.
Absolutely excellent. Visited twice today on my way to Newcastle from Hull and because the first visit was ideal, I called in on the way back as well. Ate there last night with some friends. The food was excellent but the main room needed heating more.
Visited for breakfast just after opening service was very good and the standard of food was good, I opted for the full English and struggled to get through it, my partner went for the poached egg with avocado on toast which was served with mushrooms but she said it was good, would visit again
Very nice bistro had a lovely meal for 2 which was the burger & lasagna. The service was excellent and prices are very reasonable.

The cafe and the staff fitted well with the a beautiful village. Clean, welcoming and well mannered staff. A real treat. It's a place that we would go out of our way to visit again.

Gorgeous brekky and fantastic service.
Brilliant atmosphere and food for our anniversary dinner on 5/6/21. Only real concern that made relaxation an issue for us was the chap showing people in and coming to table did not actually wear his mask. All other staff did. A worrying issue.
No scones left as already thrown in the bin, 🤣 seconds before we arrived late in the day. Chocolate cake, I must say not very nice but turned out it was vegan which explained everything. Coffee was great and the staff made up for it in being very chatty and very friendly. Will def. pop back in t

Fabulous service, very friendly!! Would highly recommend for anyone, such a great family place with gorgeous food and drinks!! Felt like me and my mother never had to leave our seats, always had their attention and it was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND❤️❤️
I have been here a few times now during the day and evening time, the food is excellent and Sam and Tash the waitress's are fantastic with the customers. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are happy to help with any dietary requirements. Highly recommended and definitely be back in the fu
