A great pub with lots to offer. We stopped here on our way to a local festival. We had been before in the winter and were impressed but it was even better in the summer. Nice sized beer garden with views from the walk in. The food was delicious and we weren't waiting long at all. The landlord was a
Great menu and fantastic service and guess what Dog Friendly too! Our server Ali was very helpful, the burger tasted homemade, the chips were crispy just how l like them. It’s a lovely area to visit with the Ring of stones and the views. Great selection of Ciders and Beers although sadly one of us
Popped in here on a recommendation. What a beautiful place to have lunch or just a drink. We will certainly return again when we are passing. It was very busy due to it being a Sunday, but the staff were very efficient and although we were told the food would be 45 mins it came out a lot faster.
Delicious food, lovely staff, amazing views and walks. Also in winter warm welcome, warm fire 🔥 good place to take your dog or horse. Nice place to have group dinner, celebration. Family friendly.
On holiday and for my birthday, we chose to go there as dog friendly which it certainly was. Great food, excellent service and buzzing atmosphere. Advise to book in advance even for a few years while you go for a walk around the Ham Hill Country Park. Can only imagine how busy it is in the summer.
What a hidden gem! Sure the locals know and enjoy it. Who wouldn't with that view. Lovely staff, super quick service, great parking. Classic English Breakfast. All round great, very pleased we had in recommend to us.

It provides a thoughtful welcome to families, ramblers and particularly dog walkers. There are boot scrappers at the door and dog water bowls at every t
Just had a fantastic meal here. Ali our waitress was an absolute delightful lady. She knows her job and made the whole experience even better
After we had our wonderful wedding in the chapel at The Prince of Wales in 2016, we decided that it would be the perfect place to have our joint birthday party. We hired the marquee and the team at the pub couldn’t have been better, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for
A beautiful hidden gem, although it's well used by the locals . Ample parking around the hill in various car parks. The pub sits up above the local villages and overlooks the countryside around it. Fantastic walks and VERY dog friendly inside and out of the pub. Very friendly and perfect place to am
