The Bridge House and The Talbot are the same establishments. I am so glad that we decided to cancel out reservation in the Alton Towers Resort Restaurant and head out to this pub. The food was amazing, great atmosphere and service and nice to get away from the resort for an evening. The portion size
Good food for an average price, very scenic outdoor seating which makes it very enjoyable. The indoor of the pub is well designed and has a cosy feel. This pub now seems to be owned by the same owner as the one next door, thus the only food served at lunch is from ‘the hatch’. Could do with some mor
Love the fries tasty and crispy also the fish chips, lasagna is a bit salty but delicious still. The environment is beautiful and cozy, but the food price is a bit high, we spent £37 for the fish chips and lasagna.
We were staying at Alton towers and the food there just wasn't cutting it for us so we ended up visiting this lovely pub for dinner. It was perfect. You can tell it's all home made and fresh. The food was very good quality and really good value for money. They have a huge grass area which is great f
My friends and I went to the Talbot to avoid the Alton Towers food rush, we were welcome and well looked after by the governor Linden and entertained by the Cat cookie. My friends and I cannot stress what a wonderful atmosphere this was, and how friendly the staff were. The choice and knowledge of

Wow, I have been to Alton Towers hundreds of times and and never spotted this hidden gem. The location is perfect with a river, outdoor seating both in the sun and covered, with views of the castle, river and forests. Then there is indoor seating in a historic pub with retro styled booths, seating a

Awesome place, staff friendly, parking no problem. The pizzas next door were amazing, highly recommended. If you go to Alton Towers, be sure to swing in and check out this place.
Dropped kids off at Alton Towers for the day and stopped off here to grab some breakfast. We were there as soon as it opened so the fires weren't yet lit and it was pretty cold. I wished I'd brought a coat with me. The food was good and it's a lovely, old pub with plenty of charm. Overall worth a vi
