A chance to walk through woodlands with over 140 monkeys. This has a huge free car park and easy access coming from either the Stoke or Stafford North exits of the M5. Not too expensive to get in, and you can come and go into the Monkey walk area as many times as you like once through the main entrance. There is a good-sized cafe and if the weather is suitable, plenty of outside seating to eat your purchased food or your own. Prices in the cafe are fairly reasonable and decent selection of dishes. A couple of good quality and well maintained play areas for children so they can enjoy the day even more. There are plenty of keepers around where the monkeys are with two feeding areas. They give you loads of information about the monkeys, and all look well cared for and free to roam freely in the woodland. Well worth a visit with or without children.

Great visit if you need to occupy yourself or any of you family for half a day. Plenty of educational literature on your walk around concerning the monkeys and what is happening to the species. You can take your own food or eat in the cafe which was reasonable priced but eat it before you go around on the walk as your not allowed to take any food in. As we had free tickets (not provided by the park) I can't comment on how pricey it is to get in and the comparative entertainment for that price. But, we all enjoyed our time there.

What a great place to visit if you like monkeys. It's a very organised walk through the forest on a walkable path, where they feed the monkeys in certain areas every couple of hours. We actually got to see some 2 month old monkeys which was amazing. The staff give a great talk all about them prior to feeding which is really interesting. They live in a wonderful habitat & are very safe, I just wanted to explore all day. The place has a great play area for children, cafe, a shop, toilets & ice-cream. Perfect place to visit

A quick stop over to break up a journey. I would say expensive for what it was but on the other hand your contribution helps the place keep doing what they do for these monkeys. So 🤷‍♂️. A good couple of hours and up close and personal with the monkeys which are bigger than expected, I had no idea about what they had here, one long loop with regular feeding times good fun had anyway 👍

Really informative and exciting for any age!! 2 metre distance between yourself and monkeys at all times but they walk very close/across the path. Lots of new babies too!! Reasonably priced in total and you can make it last all day with the option of two play parks outside. We had drinks from the cafe but they sell hot and cold food too with a gift shop!

I had a Breakfast with Monkeys experience here and absolutely loved it. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and it's an absolute joy getting to go around to the parts of the forest that the public doesn't usually get to see and help feed them their breakfast. I then got to walk around the forest after this as part of the general public and see them along the paths swinging from trees and chasing each other about. I had a huge smile on my face in this place, it's amazing. I definitely recommend visiting!

This has to be one of the best days out. The monkeys are in peaceful surroundings. The staff were very informative during feeding time. We went round twice as it is doable. We saw lots of activities in the trees, don't forget to look up. We got up close while waiting for them to cross in front of us. We're big fans of 🐒 so it was a no-brainer for us. You won't be disappointed. The toilets were clean too.

Lovely little experience for all the family. My kids loved spending a few hours here. Its a pleasant little walk around the monkey forest. We watched one of the feeding times that they have throughout the day and heard some facts about the monkeys. Not expensive to get in, even cheaper online. There's a cafe and gifts shop. And a couple of play areas for the kids to enjoy. Will definitely be visiting again. But will wear mosquito repellant next time to save my legs

Trentham Monkey Forest is an absolute gem! The experience of walking among these playful and intelligent creatures is truly unforgettable. The conservation efforts are commendable, and the staff’s passion for the welfare of the monkeys shines through. It’s a fantastic day out for the family, and I can’t recommend it enough. The forest setting is beautiful, and the educational aspect makes it both fun and meaningful. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with nature and support a great cause!

We had a great two hours here. We took a subway and ate at the picnic area before going into see the monkeys. There is over 140 monkeys and they come almost 2m to you. Knocking down one point as when we attended a feeding the sound system was so bad we couldn’t understand the person telling us all the facts I hope you enjoy all the photos

It was good little day out but there isn't much. Once you've been round and done the little interactive points it would of taken about an hour//hour half at most. The grounds are nice with 2 play park areas and the little shop is cute and an OK priced cafe. Not much to it so I wouldn't go often or for a full day.

After seeing a few reviews and hearing about the monkey forest I took my 2 daughters and met up with family there. It was raining and wet but we still enjoyed it and so did the kids, I'd recommend if it's wet wear wellies and waterproof coats etc we'll definitely go again when the weather's better. It was nice to see the monkeys roaming freely in the trees and on the ground. We also seen a few baby monkeys too, it's definitely somewhere to take the kids, the walk round and the grounds is nice it was giving amazon rainforest. There's also 2 parks and cafe. Would recommend 💯

One of the most beautiful places we’ve visited this year! The monkeys are free roaming which means you can get so close to them! They’re helping protect endangered species and they have beautiful flowers, trees and rivers. Stunning!

Absolutely loved it here this is our second visit we traveled up from Suffolk and this was on our list of things to do! The first itself is fabulous the monkeys and baby monkeys was amazing to see my kids loved it I. Loved it the guides was knowledgeable and extremely helpful at every chance they got they was telling you about the monkeys and no question was off limits they was so good ! The only reason for 4 stars is the poor experience we had int he cafe of being served cold food, other than that I'd highly recommend but bring a packed lunch! The gift shop was also extremely reasonable also!!

I was here today with my family. We had a great time. It's a wonderful place. The monkeys are cute. You can learn a lot of interesting things from the texts on the signs placed in the forest about the lifestyle and habits of the animals living there. I highly recommend it to people of all ages

Very cool place! We drove around an hour to get here. Plenty of parking. Bought tickets on arrival no problem. The monkeys couldn't care less about you- they're busy doing their thing. Very nice seeing them in such a huge space instead of a zoo. There were plenty of staff dotted around to help with any questions/general knowledge and they were very good. The path is rugged in some areas and very steep in others so not ideal for wheelchairs but you'd manage with a pushchair (the steepness is downhill). Lovely walk around the woods and monkeys in different parts. Was fun looking up to find the hidden ones. You can walk around as many times as you like and go in and out as you please The restaurant is ok- we had jacket spuds and chips- can't complain. The gift shop is reasonable too. Overall we'd love to come back!

Great day out for kids and adults! A lovely wide open area for the monkeys to roam and play about and so many opportunities to see them up close. There’s also a play area, a big outdoor and indoor seating area and lots of food options both hot and cold. Also at only £10 a ticket it’s good value for money.

We had such a lovely time here. The monkeys were so interesting and entertaining to watch in their natural environment. I really like how they are not handled and the aim is to releasethem back into the wild due to such low numbers. The room they have is so vast I felt that they were living a great life. Toilets, cafe and shop on site. Parking was great and the whole experience was enjoyable. There is a disabled access part suitable for wheelchairs which runs by a lovely stream. The only thing I would improve is more seating around the place for those who struggle to walk.
