I come here once a week to sit down with a drink in the early afternoon and play video games in the corner A lot of the staff are really friendly and let me be in the corner. The cookie dough at spoons is to die for and well worth it if you don’t care about the calories

I've been covering a store in the Potteries centre for the last 3 months, Bank Holiday yesterday and no one informed me that the centre didn't open till 10 when I arrived for 8 in town. Stopped off at this Wetherspoons to treat myself to breakfast to kill time, very happy I did. Food came out super fast and was lovely. The staff member that served me was lovely and friendly as well, which is very nice to see early in the morning. Would be very happy to come here again if I'm covering this store again in the future as the staff where friendly and food was fast.

Food and drink was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick, staff friendly. The only minus was the tables were quite dirty.

I was very surprised at the price of the self service machine coffee and a cake 🎂 under £5 and the coffee was also unlimited. It was a very enjoyable visit in the afternoon which was quiet and perfect for socialising. I would definitely go back again 🙂

Classic English pub, very tasty cider with strawberry and lime. Clean, lots of space, you can build football, friendly staff.

Just drinking a pint of Stonehenge, Sign of Spring. A really nice drink, apparently made using green hops

Went for lunch with my daughter, the food was average, the prices are the usual for a witherspoons, we ordered from our table. The service was good, staff were very polite and friendly.

Was quite full when I went for dinner with my daughter, food was ordered on the app which is easy to use and was with us in less than 15 minutes. Staff are friendly and polite, a few tables needed clearing and toilets were absolutely gleaming. Overall great experience

Possibly worse breakfast I've had at any 'Spoons pub . Had the large breakfast. Asked to leave off the bacon but was offered an alternative. I chose fried egg. Few minutes later (not long enough to cook it all fresh) breakfast arrives 2 sausage 2 eggs 3 hashbrowns, overcooked, dried baked beans and a dry mushroom. Together with a side plate with an extra 3 fried eggs. So 5 fried eggs in total 1 runny 1 half runny and 3 hard . All in all not very appetising. In hindsight I should've sent it back . And I wish I had of .

Another carefully restored historical building, this time a former meat market. I enjoyed a very good vegetarian breakfast and no problem to swap one of the quorn sausages for an egg. A very nice interior, too
