Great place to meet friends, good beer, cozy and kind atmosphere. The bartender is great, a smile on his face is always very kind and caring, each order was served with joy. I ask the owners of the pub to give the bartender an award, he deserved it! We'll be back many times!
Came here last night for one of the Smashed Bros burgers. Which was incredible by the way! The Spanish burger I opted for, it was absolutely incredible... The fries were really well seasoned too. Great selection of drinks available. Highly recommended, lovely venue too, nice decor, friendly staff.
Great pub with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Darts, live music and regular quiz entertainment. Wonderful selection of real ales and spirits served by friendly, welcoming staff.
We visited the Woodman, last night to watch the group Mutton dressed as glam. We all had a great night at the Woodman. Highly recommended.
We love this pub..! Friendly welcome including for our dog. It has had a super make over. A proper lovely comfy pub atmosphere, menu is limited but is very reasonable cost wise. Pork pies highly recommended!

Brilliant little pub. Loved the atmosphere. Options of Cappuccino/tea available as well as the usual alcohol. The night we went a band was in which played decent music (rock) again most enjoyable. Overall worth going.

Never had a bad experience in The Woodman, our order is remembered as soon as we walk in (unless we decide to have something different) and the atmosphere is always brilliant!

Good real ale pub on the outskirts of Hanley town centre. Well worth a visit for cask beer or cider. Loyalty card a bonus for frequent visitors.
Good old-fashioned boozer. Great and large range of traditional ales and ciders in tip top condition. Loads of oak panelling and spotlessly clean. Happy dayz.
Lovely, friendly place. It's the little things- like remembering how many sugars in your coffee, or guarding a lost axelotle 🤣
First time last night I've been in. Absolutely lovely pub. Best part is the food though. Had pulled pork loaded fries. It was absolutely amazing
