Recently had a 30th party there and it was great. We had our own private area in the conservatory for about 50 people with the outside garden for a bouncy castle too. The staff were great and really accommodating. Great little venue & the bonus of the band that played there that night too. We didn't try the catering there but heard its great. Thanks guys
Had our wedding reception here. Absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing , atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Potters did a Wake for me and the staff and food was excellent. Dan, Chris and Natalie worked hard to do the hot and cold buffet for me . Plenty of food . Arranging the flowers,I also requested special puddings which I bought in. Everything went really well and my Mum would have been so proud for what they did for us . Thank you 😊
Sept 22 4 stars Well again 30 % off food paid a visit and much better service. Food was good and a reasonable price ,especially with the discount. Staff were pleasant.

Doesn’t make sense that 30% offer on food is being promoted and only 1 staff running around like a headless chicken trying to serve drinks and food orders . We saw people leave as waiting to long to be served. Surely more staff should be on when they are promoting offers . This happened on 2 consecutive days from what others locals were saying. The thing is the pub wasn’t that busy either but locals queuing for drinks for approximately 15 minutes. Poor staff you can only do your best .
Used the Potters for my dad's wake. Had the Cold Buffet and Hot Buffet. Plenty of food and fresh. Both buffets were nice just a pity due to the heat outside that some guests not that hungry so no fault of the pub. Dan (the Manager) and staff helpful and checked a few times to make sure all was okay for us. You get a clearly sectioned off area of the pub with plenty of room at the back. Liked how Dan let us have a bar tab, not sure if he does this for all or just because he knows us as regular Thursday night quizzers.
In the heart of Meir Park, this pub is amazing. The food comes to you very quickly, and you have an amazing choice of seating. The portions are big, ans they are big on flavour.
Wow was really shocked on how great this place is and tight on my door step. Food was hot and plenty of it with a very good price too. Great range of drinks too which are also a very good price. Booking again for next week with the family. Keep up the great work with the discount vouchers.

Visited this pub as a friend of mine is a regular visitor and has recommended it. First impressions were good, busy friendly atmosphere, service was prompt as was the food order. Food came out piping hot and was delicious. Was only planning on staying for a couple of hours but there was a quiz on and enjoyed it so much I decided to stay longer, I'll definetly be back and altho I live a little further away, I think this could perhaps be a reg place to meet with family and friends for meals etc.
Booked for evening meal & brought our dog along too , what an excellent nt , food was first class , extensive & varied menu, but best pie i've had for a long time , wifes lasagne beautiful , nice surroundings , relaxing atmosphere & helpful & friendly staff , won't be long before we visit again

Attend every other week. love the pub and staff. Only had one bad experience that Dan still owes us a free meal for, but don't worry, we haven't forgotten :)
Booked in for 4 of us. We had such a lovely experience. Food was excellent, wasn't a lot of variety but we preferred that, as we didn't have to sit wondering what we wanted and could choose; I'm glad not much variety, as the food was lush.
My 2 friends had steak perfection for them.
I had mac and cheese with pulled pork and bbq sauce... amazing! Complimented each other really well.
My other friend had steak and ale pie and she said it was lovely too.
The man, that waited on us, is such a lovely man; very polite and helpful.
Bar staff, very approachable. The pub was busy but we didn't wait long to be served. Food took a while to come but it was okay as we were talking and drinking.
The only thing I would have preferred is to have table service, but that is only something, if I had to mention something.

The staff were excellent service was superb. The overall experience was very very happy time for such a solemn occasion. The staff couldn’t do enough for us with thoroughly. Recommend to have an occasion there again.
We love coming every Thursday night to support our local pub and take part in the quiz.
Dan is a really good host, and we are now impressed that you can order your drinks at the table on quiz night, it’s great!

Dan the manager, is a star... food is amazing cooked with talent... staff, are polite and professional ... from me who dines out A LOT all around Stoke... this pub is now my favourite. Thee best pub in stoke-on-trent hands down.
Staff were really good happy and cheerful. Fast service with lovely hot food well presented. Good with family's as my youngest changed his mind after ordering doughnuts they brought him a scoop of ice cream and even a wafer so he wasn't upset .
