Best oatcakes ive tried since moving to stoke, not greasey or stodgy ,also I feel welcome there when I eat in and often have a chat with other customers . Plus two oatcakes and a cuppa and get change from a fiver bargain..can't recommend highly enough.
If you can eat an Oatcake without anything added then this is the shop to visit. Baked the old fashioned way. Ask for them "a bit brown" if the lovely lady is baking them when you walk through the door. Simply divine...👌
The mark of a good oatcake is simple. Do they taste good without any contents or sauce? Well these bloody do. Cannot resist eating a couple when I've just picked them up. Especially if they are still warm.
