meat was cooked perfectly as always. never had a bad meal our family love having lunch here. value for money is brilliant. wouldalways recommend �
Visited on the 25th April we could tell it was busy as there was a coach on the car park but this didn't deter us. We were quickly greeted and seated and drinks order taken. There was a queue for the carvery but that could be expected as it was busy. The carvery was delicious and good value for money. The staff were friendly and very efficient and we will be visiting again. Would highly recommend to other people

Had a lovely meal took my grandchildren for a meal on new years eve everything was nice and hot and great pleasant service by waitress serving drinks and puddings will definitely be visiting again soon x
Very nice carvery with a choice of 5 meats (but you actually only pick 3) and plenty of vegetables, stuffing, gravy and potatoes etc. If you're still hungry you can go back for more. The lady who took our order was so friendly and helpful as we hadn't been here before. It was very busy - we just turned up on Sunday around 6 - but we were able to be seated no problem. Would return without hesitation if we're in the area.
Stopped in for breakfast while travelling North. Place was clean, staff friendly and welcoming. Food, was plentiful, hot and good options.
Highly recommended finding the local Toby Carvery when travelling rather than a service
Food and ambience was great. 11 of us went and one of our group had the carvery then sticky toffee pudding only to find out when the bill came that this dessert is not included in the £11.29 2 course lunch deal. Apart from that the experience was very enjoyable, we'll be back next month.
Thank you so much for a fabulous occasion. I booked for a table of 13 but there were 15 of us on the day, plus a baby in high chair. staff quickly adjusted to accommodate us. The waitress(Kazz) was so attentive and patient with my son Greg who has downs syndrome. She took extra care to understand his difficult speech and make sure he had everything he needed. This made a very special occasion extra special. Thank you. I will be back.
It was obviously a fully booked day, but the staff were excellent from start to finish and other than the large volume of people you wouldn’t notice. We were seated on time, the waiting staff were attentive. The food was kept fresh and very tasty, the front of house staff were working particularly hard to make sure everyone was catered for and they did a great job. We were meeting up with family mid way between Manchester and Leicester so long waiting times etc could have been a problem as we had to make the journey back as well but all in all it was a great experience. Will def do it again when needed. Thank you
Visited after a long day of exploring local attractions. The welcome was a little poor as too much time was spent booking us in on a laptop and this felt impersonal. Drinks arrived fast and the carvery was quiet when we went. Food quality was excellent! The roast potatoes was soft and the option to go back for more vegetables is a plus.
Great service and atmosphere, the carver with the imperial moustache was really rude but Logan the waiter was really polite and gave us a very welcome service. So cheers Logan all the best in your career buddy keep up the good work 👌🏼
First time here even though I've lived local for years. This place is huge! Very well presented and maintained, clean, tidy and a warm atmosphere.
We had a carvery, and we did have to wait 20 minutes in the queue, but this was by far the best carvery we've had in years. The meat was succulent and as fresh as it gets. The veg was mostly great, some dried cabbage but they were very busy. The gravy was flavorful too, and the portion sizes were spot on. The Yorkshire's were huge.
All in all a great evening meal, and it's easy to get vouchers for money off. Meerkat movies, blue light card etc. Fantastic value for what you are getting.
The staff were very polite too.
This place will be amazing to visit during the holidays!

We visited this carvery after a long day, we were seen to and seated promptly, the table was close to others but still private enough. Our server was fantastic, she catered to us quickly and once finished the process to get the bill was quick, we were in and out with no nonsense. The food speaks for itself, fantastic gravy. We will visit again
On way home to Scotland, stopped in for dinner. Food was very good! Great value for money. Served by Emma who was very polite, kind and really helpful. Would recommend….but go hungry 😂

A nice carvery! A few bits weren't the best (one of my partner's roasties was raw inside and I didn't really like the chocolate fudge cake), but overall it was very nice! I'd absolutely recommend the ice cream - it's like the ice cream from a van so it's absolutely delicious! The service was mostly great as well, the only thing was that when we'd finished our desserts, we put them to the edge of the table and waited for someone to come up to the table to take them and we could pay, but we waited for around 15 minutes and nobody came (we made sure to watch other tables having their plates collected and paying at the table to make sure we weren't doing the wrong thing) - eventually we ended up getting up and going to find someone to pay. The staff were all really helpful, friendly and polite, and the person who got us our bill knew exactly what we'd ordered, so that was great! Overall I'd recommend Toby to anyone wanting to go out for a fairly inexpensive, filling meal. Make sure you get some ice cream!
The service was second to none along with the carvery. It is the best meal we have had at a restaurant for a long time. Beautiful surroundings too. Nice and clean
Made very welcome on arrival, and didn't wait too long before being taken to the table.
Carvery was delicious, lots of choice of everything. Serving staff were friendly and attentative.
Waited a while for a cappuccino which was not brilliant...only slight issue.
Excellent food. Good selection. Logan served us and was very attentive without being intrusive. He even prompted us to use our available discount offer code which I appreciated.
