Could not rate this place more. After a family day out we stopped for some food. Arrived only to find a customer had collapsed so being a nurse intervened only to be given a free drink for helping! Food was absolutely amazing! Staff were lovely and friendly! Bedt pub meal I have had in a very long time! Will definitely be back! Absolutely loved it!!!! ���
We called into the Horn and Trumpet on a Monday 12th June, it was around 4pm so pretty quiet. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman, we think he was the manager, he was super helpful and provided us with fantastic service throughout. The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot, I had the chicken, gammon and mustard pie which I would highly recommend. There were three of us dining and we all agreed that it was the best meal and service that we'd had out in a long time.

Went there for a meal with a friend as we make use the 30% discount offer. Plenty of parking spaces outside and inside is nice and airy. Food was surprisingly good for what we've paid. The staff were nice and friendly, and customer toilets were clean.
The young man behind the bar who took the order was very professional but friendly. The food and drinks were good. The fact I had a discount voucher made it even better. Was nice to see that dogs were made to feel welcome with treat bar etc. We left our dog at home but know for next time.

booking was easy x on arrival there was no one to direct us so we found our own table x whilst choosing from the menu we were disturbed by twi loud children shouting and running up and down x we were at opposite ends so it was a disconcerting experience especially as they nearly ran into my friend bringing our drinks from the bar x parents were ineffectual at dealing with this so maybe management could be a little firmer x
however the meals were extremely tasty with plenty on the plate x our server Kaitlin was very pleasant, helpful and thoughtful x she helped us in choosing desert which was also extremely enjoyable x ii recommend the sherry trifle cheesecake and chocolate orange brownies 😂
overall we all agreed that we would return again and would also recommend the venue and meals to family and friends x there were lots of enticing choices of both meals and drinks to tempt us back on other days too rather than just for our normal Sunday lunch x good value money too x

We were welcomed on arrival and the gentleman at the bar was pleasant and polite when placing my drinks order. We ordered our food through the QR code on the table and found the process easy and straightforward. We had our food brought to us in no time. Service and the food were excellent.
Great food especially as I am vegan and loved having a good choice of options and really pleasant gentlemen served us

Food was very good. The service was excellent the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our time in the pub and definitely will be coming back.
Very friendly staff, nice food, very clean and tidy, even the toilets were spotless, that my 8yr old granddaughter commented on it. Good value for money, has a child's play area, would highly recommend
Andrew done all he could to support us. We was outside with the children but it was getting a bit cold and he overheard us saying it was getting cold. Then offered us a seat inside near the kids zone. After ordering our deserts Andrew came over to inform us that the jam pudding was unavailable and offered us the alternative black forest pudding which was very nice. Food was cooked well and service was prompt staff interacted with the children and made us feel very welcome. Thanks team :)
My husband & I , came here for the first time , last Monday.
We were greeted by Andrew , who found us a table and made us feel very welcome , he then took our food & drinks orders , brought out the cutlery to our table .
Our main meal was perfect in every way.
My husband had the pie with chips & peas, I had the mixed grill . My husband had sticky toffee pudding & custard, I had choc fudge cake & I cream it was totally scrumptious .
We were served by Andrew all through our visit , he is a very polite young man & very attentive. He asked if everything was okay with our main course & deserts aswell, which found lovely .
He was very busy & hardwokring young man , greeting , taking orders for food & drink , bringing out the cuttlery & the food , clearing tables & working the bar aswell, but had time to make us feel most welcome & chatted to us .
For all the reasons above we will certainly be going back on a regular basis.

It was a nice place, the food was good, but you didn't get much for the money you paid. Drinks were fine and reasonable priced.
Love comming here either for the thursday quiz or just an afternoon meal. Fantastic mixed grill, thanks Andrew and Will for another great experience 👍
First visit for me (2nd for my wife). We went for a lunchtime meal after wife suggested it ... everything from pre-booking, menu choice, bar and food service was good. Food was fresh, tasty and great value for money.
Definitely will visit again.
Ordered the spicy burger , chicken burger and kids pizza.
They all tasted amazing the kids pizza was big enough for adult.
The staff was helpful and very friendly and thank you for giving us a great meal.
