Really nice pub friendly staff food nice only had a jacket potato but it was done perfectly as i would like it done at home the other good point is they do cask ale which is a must for any public house and restaurants these days thanks to the staff for your service,

After a night without the kids, and recently moving within walking/staggering distance to the pub... We decided to try it for a night out. Tonight we didn't want to go 'out-out' just 'out'!!!! So we opted for our new local, which was a controversial decision after having a not so good food experience here a while ago!
We entered, a warm welcome awaited full of locals and smiles and the staff were lovely too!
I was a very happy girl when I saw my favourite 'surf & turf' on the menu - that often gets served served with steak & prawns nowadays, but you didn't disappoint and served it with steak & scampi - winner! The steak
Was cooked to perfection and had no fatty bits - absolutely could not fault my meal. My hubby had The Ultimate Catch- which he couldn't fault either and said it was cooked beautifully.
After our meal, we headed to the bar side to meet with old friends, and the high level of service continued from a gent who was friendly & caring. This was the same gent who had took my food order and looked after us for the evening. Regretfully I didn't catch his name, but gave him a tip for his efforts & care.
An absolutely lovely evening - thank you the man in space - we will be back soon!
Opens at 12, best to arrive around then as it can get busy later. Great selection of food available with a kids menu as well. Food is served quickly and even when busy you do not have to wait long. The staff are friendly, helpfull and quick to clean the tables. Lots of space inside with seating outside as well. Good atmosphere. Great value for money.

Here's another gem of a place. Despite the 45-minute wait, the food was excellent, and certainly worth the wait.
There's a lovely community atmosphere to this pub/restaurant. The staff are pleasant and will certainly be visiting again.
Lots of offers on all the time so you get a meal for a great price. There's even a loyalty scheme which is one of the best I've seen for restaurants/pubs.
I visited the pub on 13/7 after driving from Hereford to attend an old pal's funeral celebration. The staff offered a reassuringly kind welcome and the food was very tasteful and varied. The service was certainly prompt and efficient and their approach was quietly friendly and respectful to the circumstances.
I would recommend this brightly clean and well- managed venue to anyone planning a similar kind gathering.
Was greeted with a smile at the bar when ordering food and drinks. I ordered the MEGA mixed grill which I thought came in a skillet plate to keep the meats hot but it was served on a standard cold plate. Can't really complain about any of it was nicely cooked and I ate the lot 🐖🐷🐽 well almost 😊. My dad had sausage and mash and It came with 3 onion rings 🤷🏼♂️wich wasn't stated in the menu.
Had a very nice dinner all 6 of us enjoyed our food although I had the fajitas and would have preferred them more spicy but that's just down to taste. We thought reasonably priced food and drink next time we're visiting family wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Took dad for 83rd birthday. Meal was amazing. Fast friendly service. Food arrived in minutes. Ordered from table. App was jumpy but got there after 20 minutes order was complete .will be back again. Kaz, Andy, John.
As a group of 4adults and 3 children there was plenty space to sit at the table.. not like other places where you are squeezed onto a table for 6 then high chair at the end.. we were greeted by a lovely lady who took our drinks order and told us where the table was that we had booked...very pleasant helpful lady..after waiting for the rest of the family we were told if there was anything we needed to just ask... We all ordered our meals..which came 10 mins or so after . We thoroughly enjoyed the food...the children's meals were £1 brilliant value.. overall we were very pleased with our meals . the atmosphere.. service was top notch ...children had a go of the ball machine and made a mess . I offered tidy up to which a lovely man said it was a job for him and to not worry... We will certainly be going back.. thankyou.. my mum says thanks for the takeaway brownie 😁
Great local pub and good choice of food which arrived quickly and hot, which on a bank holiday Sunday is impressive. Good prices. Staff are brilliant especially Lynn who looked after us. Waffle desert is lethal you will want a 2nd one.
Staff were very efficient and friendly. There was an offer on so quite busy and only one staff at the bar so quite a wait to get served,need more staff on when offers on, and didn't have dessert of choice
Brilliant staff, always clean, good selection of beers and wines and food is fantastic 👍 x10. Ample parking and great outdoor seating. "The Man in Space... is always Ace"

We go to the man in space regularly, it’s our go to place for a great meal and excellent service. It would be hard to find anything you need to improve on. Every visit we’ve made has been perfect.
Absolutely Amazing food, very tasty, excellent and very polite and engaging staff and a wonderful Head Chef. Great service from the Manager, Dave and the team.

I rang on the off chance of being able to get a table after the website stated that a time a lot was unavailable. They were short staffed but still accommodated our needs.

We had a groupon voucher and you get a substantial amout of food for your money.
The nachos and I had the rotisserie chicken both were very tasty. Other members of party had jerk chicken skewers which they said was nice and steak. I can’t say how good theres was but I do normally taste other people food 😂
My only gripes is the the website was not accurate as we had been trying to book a table for many weeks and it always said it was full the staff informed that it was accurate and there was tables. HQ should definitely sort the issue you are loosing money.
Big thank you to Steve,David, Emma and Lilly not sure which one worked through her break to accommodate us but you are a ⭐️.
Mushrooms please don’t microwave ( unless in a little water ) mixed grill please add an egg to the menu , ask staff to ask if your meals ok while eating it no5 just after , pub was nice tidy ordering was quick , food came out with a good time space
Excellent food, steak wasn't to my liking so they replaced it straight away and it was perfect, friendly staff, lots of parking
Love going here been quite a few times. Love the food it's always cooked just right and lovely too 👌. staff are really nice and are more than happy to help .
First time we went was a few years ago ,now we go every month . Very highly recommend I'd give this place 10 / 10 👌👍
We really enjoyed it staff were very friendly nothing to much trouble we sat at table 4 and thought it a bit dark there
