Traditional small pub selling good value food and drink. The mixed grill in particular is huge with proper old school chips like you'd have had growing up before everything became oven chips. Very nice and easy to recommend.
Cannot fault this little gem, the food was fantastic and the staff were second to none, also we had coffee which was piping hot(not luke warm like some places who sell it).
Proper English pub food and traditional ales, couldn't recommend the steak and ale pie enough, staff are welcoming aswell.

Country pub atmosphere and a little beer garden/play area for children where we spent a happy hour in the sunshine after our meal.

Great home cooked proper food, not pretentious or unnecessarily fancy. Always eat here when I visit Leek, never had a bad experience, usually quite busy so make sure you book ahead. Don't expect poncy fancy rubbish, this is real British pub food like we used to eat before pubs started serving poncy

Beautiful home made food and one of the finest pints of Bass or Pedigree in the area. All at a very competitive price . A homely and pleasant environment, with a lovely welcoming fire . Just how a good pub used to feel like , twenty or thirty years ago.
