Rely nice country pub/restaurant.
Service was good, attentive without being over the top.
Food was good.
Had three course between us.
Halloumi fries with chilli jam was delicious to start.
Went for roast beef dinners as main. Pretty good overall with plenty of flavours. Served nice and hot with tas
The vegan pie here was incredible! Really impressed with the vegan pie and soup of the day (potato and leek)!
Only downside was that we were hoping to be seated in the actual pub but I think dining takes place in a restaurant extension.

We have just visited the Stafford Arms for lunch and it was simply the best meal we have had out for a long time. The service was brilliant, the food was delicious. Highly recommend the sirloin steak, fish and chips and the orange and almond cake with ice cream. Homemade chips makes all the differen
After a recommendation to eat here we finally found the time and made a reservation. As it’s a very popular pub / restaurant you must book if you want to eat and drink at peak times.
We found the food to be delightful and especially liked the little plates section which was great for kids or adults
Absolutely beautiful place with so much history! Prices reasonable for extremely good food, you won't be disappointed!
The Stafford Arms is off the charts with Atmosphere!!! The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had!

Called in on a Friday lunch time after finishing work with my husband on recommendation from a friend. The place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere service was great, staff were polite and efficient even though they were busy with a funeral. The food was good and the resurant was busy had a lovely time
We had a fabulous time! The food was amazing and the staff were brilliant! My husband was very impressed with the wine selection and that the red was cooled at the right temperature! We will certainly be visiting again!
