Lovely spot serving a solid pub grub menu. We were quite a large group so had booked a small room. The service was excellent, with the food coming out quickly even given our group size. Good atmosphere in the pub, would recommend šŸ»
We decided to try The Bleeding Wolf from someone elseā€™s recommendation. Parking is around the back of the pub, loads of parking available! The pub is clearly very dog friendly with a ā€œdog stationā€ outside and a dog friendly section inside the pub. We visited the pub around 4:30pm on a Thursday and
Really nice pub. Service was very quick, food was nice. Main meals were reasonably priced, with us utilising the Chippy Tuesday deal, but desserts were overpriced and relatively small portions for Ā£8. There was a large beer garden that was well looked after and a large kids playground behind the pub
A lovely, busy pub with plenty of outdoor seating and a kids play area. The beer garden is away from the road and there are chickens wondering around for added interest! The thatched roof and unusual name make it stand out when driving past. A good choice of drinks, we haven't eaten there yet but h
A very lovely evening spent celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We were a party of 14. The service, food and staff were all of a very high standard. Thank you so much for making our evening such a memorable one. We will definitely be returning. 100% recommend.
Lovely traditional pub where you can chill in informal lounge and dining areas. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, as were the locals. The Roast Pork and Beef and Bacon Burger were tasty and great value. Additionally, there was a great selection of ales and lagers available.
Lovely meal here last night in the late evening sunshine, outside, with the chickens wandering about. Lovely food, salmon was so good. So lucky to this pub so close
Delightful food and service Lovely play area for children and the free range chucks Often visited by local car clubs 7/5/23 return visit although busy food and service was excellent Great atmosphere and vibe and the building is full of charm and character.
Can't recommend this place highly enough. Everything you want in a traditional pub. Impressive food, decent wine, dog friendly, beautiful building, great decor, special history, and extremely friendly and helpful staff who can't do enough for you. Plus very nicely located for some great walks.
It was a busy afternoon but we were well looked after & the sandwiches were great. The main menu looked so good booked in for my birthday meal & canā€™t wait although May have difficulty actually choosing what to have
