Well well, this is a textbook definition of a hidden gem! Who'd have thought that a quality Indian restaurant exists in a quaint and nice village as Audley? I went for dinner with very low expectations, but I was in for a surprise. The starters we tried were Prawn Bhuna Puree, Shami Kebab (Lamb) & C
Fantastic food, it's the best around and always consistently high quality. Service is always good with attentive staff. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Award winning and you can see why! Eat in or takeaway. Always best to book as they are very busy at popular times.
Absolutely gorgeous food! Cooked and prepared how I asked for it. If you've never been then you're definitely missing out! Would highly recommend
Great service, atmosphere, friendly staff and more importantly excellent food. Best curries I've had in a long time, very authentic with lovely aromas, esp the tandoori king prawns. I will be going back and highly recommend! :)
A top Indian restaurant. Went with four friends and we were all well satisfied with our meals. All had different dishes and they were all individually. Really authentic restaurant. Lovely clean place and reasonably priced.
Recently read that Alessi had been named the “Critic's Choice Restaurant of the Year at the 2022 English Curry Awards.” As the place is about 20 miles away, decided to visit tonight with a friend to mark a birthday. The atmosphere and setting was lovely and the service was perfect. As for the food,
Had an anniversary meal for two this evening. Our first visit to Alessi.and definitely not our last! The quality of our food was excellent particularly the salmon tikka x perfectly cooked x service was great too. An absolute gem of a place. I highly recommend xxx
Excellent food and service, ordered the Lamb Jalfrieze with a special pilau rice and cheese nan tasted really really good the portion sizes were very generous and filling, the service was excellent we were served by a young man named Charlie who was very attentive, polite and looked after us.
2nd visit for us and it was just as good as the first time. Great service and great food. Its popular so book ahead. It was busy on both occasions with a bustling atmosphere. Will certainly be back..
Reviews and awards are great, but honestly, the reality far out weighs what I was expecting. Start to finish, simply superb. I Ordered Chef Special Bhuna Shashlick (possibly spelt incorrectly), and it was incredible. As we're the sundry items, dips, naans etc etc.
