Visited today as a random choice and was not disappointed at all!! Staff were all absolutely lovely, friendly environment, clean and food was excellent, especially the homemade chips!! Will defo be back for when the back beer garden is open!! ❤️

We had an excellent Sunday lunch here in an amazing new outdoor beer garden overlooking the valley. The roast beef was excellent and so were the ribs. Beer choice was good and the service friendly. It’s popular with locals, so I recommend that you book.
My husband and I have been coming to the rose and crown on a Sunday for a few months now. The food is plentiful and tasty ..The staff are friendly and accommodating. We have no hesitation of recommending this pub for value for money and getting a great home cooked meal.
I went yesterday for lunch with relatives great service staff very friendly & helpful. It is great dogs welcome plenty of parking would highly recommend it.
We went for a family walk around Stanley Pool called in Rose and Crown for a pint and packet of crisps 9 of us in total very nice walk and a very nice pint
Thr tomato soup and trio of icecreams were delicious. Not particularly keen on the double cooked chips. I left them.
Went to the Rose and crown to meet up with my family they were very acomadating as we have family who are celiac and gluten intolerance and the food was fantastic thank you.
Great selection of food on the the main menu and the specials menu. Good value for money with very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend

Fine range of ales & drinks. A well run pub which keeps the locals entertained. Regulars who obviously enjoy the pub's atmosphere and are happy to share this friendliness with Johnny come lately's like me!

Visited Bank Hol Coronation Mon 8 May. I had steak & ale pie, chips and veg.... portion size was adequate and there was a reasonable amount of meat in the pie which was flavoursome. Chips are extremely tasty. The meal was very good. My partner, who's veggie said to the bar lady there was very little veggie food available and could she have the halloumi kebab off the main menu which the chef kindly obliged with. That meal was large and delicious. As usual a good visit folks and they do Stella on draught which seems to be dying out in some Stoke pubs!
We had a fantastic night for my 60th birthday. The buffet was amazing well worth the money. Every one commented on it. All the staff are amazing nothing to much trouble. Xx
