Visited today as a random choice and was not disappointed at all!! Staff were all absolutely lovely, friendly environment, clean and food was excellent, especially the homemade chips!! Will defo be back for when the back beer garden is open!! ❤️

We had an excellent Sunday lunch here in an amazing new outdoor beer garden overlooking the valley. The roast beef was excellent and so were the ribs. Beer choice was good and the service friendly. It’s popular with locals, so I recommend that you book.
My husband and I have been coming to the rose and crown on a Sunday for a few months now. The food is plentiful and tasty ..The staff are friendly and accommodating. We have no hesitation of recommending this pub for value for money and getting a great home cooked meal.
I went yesterday for lunch with relatives great service staff very friendly & helpful. It is great dogs welcome plenty of parking would highly recommend it.
We went for a family walk around Stanley Pool called in Rose and Crown for a pint and packet of crisps 9 of us in total very nice walk and a very nice pint
Thr tomato soup and trio of icecreams were delicious. Not particularly keen on the double cooked chips. I left them.
Went to the Rose and crown to meet up with my family they were very acomadating as we have family who are celiac and gluten intolerance and the food was fantastic thank you.

Really friendly welcome for my dog: Daisy. My sister & I dropped in for Sunday lunch and were served a delicious meal. Fine range of ales & drinks. A well run pub which keeps the locals entertained. We had a fantastic night for my 60th birthday. The buffet was amazing well worth the money. Every one commented on it. All the staff are amazing nothing to much trouble. Xx
