Fabulous meal, really friendly staff, fast and effecient service only waited 10 mins for large mixed grill, which was just as we had asked for and the carvery was beautiful but i recommend the lge plate cause by the time you have had a small bit of all that there is your plate is humungous lol xx well done the New Florence.
Big shout out to Fay and all staff at the New Florence , carvery is a great addition to the pub menu and by far the best ive tasted. Well done , the place looks amazing . Will be dining regularly from now on x
Been here on a few occasions and never had a bad meal. Even the carvery is good value for money. Good atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. We would recommend the Florence everytime ���

Staff very friendly & welcoming. The carvery was one of the best I have tasted. Everything was piping hot and there was plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend you go and give it a try.
Been today with my fella, little one and brother we all enjoyed the meal and the pub is great. Nice friendly staff will be recommending to friends and family xx
Had the most delicious carvery I have ever tasted. I had beef and turkey....Wow. The potatoes were lovely and creamy....no lumps!! The choice of vegetables was great and the roast potatoes were delicious. The staff were lovely and polite. This is going to be my favourite Carvery pub. Roll on next time. 10/10 from me. Well done to you all.
We visited today as I luckily won the Facebook competition! We had 3 courses off the Festive Menu and we were so impressed!
Service was fantastic, all the staff who dealt with us were so friendly & polite.
The food was so much better than we expected. Really good size portions. We had soup, chicken goujons and prawns to start and they were all delicious. The mains of a roast Turkey dinner was lovely, 'proper' turkey and fresh vegetables, cooked really well! Puddings were spot on too!
Thank you New Florence for a lovely meal. The kids also got to see Santa too who was great with the kids. We will be sure to visit again before Christmas �

Hospitality is so perfect❤️this is our first time here, and we are surprised by how amazing it is. Food is served efficiently with warm plate and we are greeted with friendly staff who introduced everything. I had a terrible headache but want to make sure my kids had something before we drive back home, staff kept bringing water and check anything can help.Feel the genuine care and couldn’t be more thankful. Love the beef lasagne!

Zoe the lady on the bar was very polite, accommodating and helpful. I had multiple adults with learning disabilities needing lots of receipts, she helped me back to the table with my drink order. Food was brought out promptly and all together. We were asked a few times by 2 members of staff how everything was. It’s been lovely. Thank you.
Jamie had to organise 2 parties in the Wacky Warehouse on 19/10/23. She explained to us she was on her own and she would do her best. Well she did better than that she excelled in keeping both birthday parties fed and happy and went out of her way to make it a party to remember. Shes a gem thanks Jamie

Excellent meal today at the New Florence. My wife wanted a jacket potato which doesn't appear on the mainmenu and Nick and Ryan were more than happy to help. The jacket potato was fresh and well cooked. My meal was equally nice and good quality. Both Nick and Ryan were attentive, professional and an asset to the Greene King brand. We were very impressed. Unfortunately, we don't live local and are currently visiting family. However, we'll definitely come back again when we're back in the area. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.
Carvery was mostly very nice. Good bar service and speed on kids meals despite it being busy. A bit put off when we saw someone mop the wacky warehouse, then use the same mop to mop the table tops, but luckily for us we didn't eat in there.
Clean and tidy tables. Food quite good for carvery. Staff polite and pleasant. Soft drinks really overpriced
Long time since our last visit but the food was great and the prices were good. The carvery was £6.99 mid week for a medium plate and that was too much food. The meat was melt in the mouth delicious with generous slices, and enough vegetable choices. The fish and chips were lovely and fresh and plenty of food.

Some items on the carvery looked as though they may be dry but everything tasted fresh. We’ll definitely be back, thank you!!!
I would say it’s the best Greene King Pub we’ve had. Good food qualities and caring staff. My kid had a lime in his coca-cola and he was surprised.
