Loved the ambiance of the place with outside seating and super cool interior. The service was excellent with really good food and fabulous cocktails. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic atmosphere here. Amazing food. Could not ask for better service. The staff took note of my boyfriend's allergy and spent time with us when selecting our meal choices. Waitress (Heather) was great. Will definitely return when we're in the area. Thank you for a great meal.

First time to the Orange Tree but it won't be the last. Food was excellent and beautify presented. The atmosphere is relaxed but smart. Not the cheapest of venues but well worth the extra for a special occasion.
Very tasty meat, especially the steaks. Interesting idea with nigiri with meat, quite tasty. There is a genus of Sushi California, of course it's not really sushi, but still interesting. Stuffed hot breads are also tasty. The menu seems to be big, but there is nothing to choose but meat. Service is excellent, the girl listened to everything carefully and was quite polite. Interesting cocktails and wines. And excellent interior of the place.

My wife booked this place for us to eat out for the first time in ages (due to the kids🤣), and we were impressed with everything. From the food and wine(non-alcoholic) to the service and to the ambience. It was just right ✅️. Well situated off the Newcastle Road, it has ample capacity for parking. I would certainly go again and would highly recommend them over and over!

If you have the flattened steak you only get 2 options on how it's cooked though which is the only downside ,I ordered mine cooked all through (how they worded it) and it was lovely as it turned out rare and it's so tender so worth the money .

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. Although it is a little more pricey than normal, there is a good choice and slightly more unusual range. Service was great, couldn't fault any of the staff at all!
Negative was the amount of noise there. More consideration should have been given to noise reduction furnishings and lower volume music.

Food was nice Tyler our server was good. Sea Bass was nice but batter was more like chip shop than tempura. Overall nice meal with friends.

Everything was incredible, food, drinks, service and the venue. I had the camembert and nigiri for starters because the variety of choice was too good to choose just one. I then had the chicken skewer for main which was also full of flavour and the chips were perfect balance of crispy and fluffy. Finally had the dessert sharer with my friend and had a bit of everything we fancied which again was delicious. Presentation of everything was beautiful too, true care and attention to detail. Overall completely recommend 10/10 experience, will definitely be returning!
Restaurant was fully booked, however, the very polite lady working the front desk seated us in the bar and allowed us to order food from there.
The bar service was fantastic and the food was excellent. Will be visiting again.

I really enjoyed my crabcake starter, miso salmon skewer and somehow got talked into a dessert of white chocolate and biscoff cookie dough too! 😂
My partner had the chorizo and halloumi skewers and the glazed bacon chop and the cherry tart loved these and our friend had the chargrilled sweet potato followed by the BBQ oyster mushroom on sourdough and then a chocolate brownie with a birthday candle 🙌
Service was on point throughout, venue was beautifully presented and really clean.
I wish we were more local as I imagine we would dine here often, but regardless I imagine we will make the 1h 15m journey often!

Quite pricey but you get what you pay for. Brilliant for a special occasion but you best book as it's always busy, giving a fabulous atmosphere every time.
Great service. Absolutely delicious food. Perfect place to treat my mum for her birthday. Pan roasted chicken was one of the nicest meals I have ever had.

The atomsphere was mild (which is okay for me, maybe not for others). There was music quietly playing in the background and the general level of noise was lovely. You could easily hold a conversation at a normal level. Outdoor seating is available. Inside, the lighting is dime, however most if not all of the dining area have massive glass windows facing them, allowing a vast amount of light to come in and brighten the room, making it look more spacious.
The staff were generally very polite and came over a few times to check to see if everything was okay, which is nice to see. Bear in mind it was a quite evening so wouldn't know if this is still obtainable during busier evenings.
The food was great and well presented (as you can see via the pictures). I did have a bit of a problem with my meal in which the paper underneath my food started to break up and I accidentally started to consume it. Now I don't know if this is an error on my half or whether this incident could be a thing that The Orange Tree Bar need to be made aware of. I ended up not bringing it up with the staff. Hopefully they will be aware of it by reading this lengthy review. Plus any possible future diners will also be aware of it too. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would go and dine there again. If I could I would give 4.5⭐️
