Went to the restaurant last night for a family birthday meal. This was the first time we’d visited since the venue had changed hands. We had the set menu of sharing platter, crispy duck pancakes, steak, sweet and sour chicken, xo prawns, etc and it didn’t disappoint. The squid and prawns were cooked to perfection and so fresh. I think the squid was possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. Service at the table was spot on and most importantly even though we were the last table in the restaurant to finish, we were not rushed to leave. So glad this restaurant is back, refreshed with new menu and ideas. We’ll be back.

This was my first visit since the change in management. I can highly recommend it. I regularly eat at Tattu in Manchester, which is arguably the best Chinese restaurant in the UK. I can honestly say that the Dim Sum at Yu-Ma-Mi was better than Tattu's; really tasty, only improvement that I could suggest would be for there to be a dipping sauce, even if it was just Soy Sauce. For main, I had Scallops which was pretty much perfect, and you get a decent portion of scallops too. Something that is always an issue when having Chinese is, do I have rice or do I have noodles. I am not a big lover of rice so would ordinarily opt for noodles. As there were 3 of us, we had both. The Coconut Rice was amazing, literally the best rice I have ever had.
Definitely will go again and looking forward to how the restaurant develops. Would really like sauces with the Dim Sum and things like Caramel Soy Beef adding to the menu. Also that drink options are expanded eg cocktails, mocktails, and more non alcoholic options, like Mango juice or Lychee juice.
I went for dinner last night and it was absolutely lovely. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the staff were friendly and the pianist that was playing live in the background was a beautiful touch. I’d definitely recommend the place!

I must say wot a fabulous evening I had tonight there were 20 of us and everybody said how outstanding the food and the service was, nothing was to much trouble I’d definitely recommend party’s in the private room... loved every minute, thank you to Sam and staff x
The papaya Thai salad is as good as some I’ve eaten in a Thailand and Yu-Ma-Mi is the only place to go in Stoke-on-Trent for damn good dim sum! (Just order them all)
Throw in a live pianist, friendly staff, an excellent selection of beers and gin cocktails and you’re set. Yu-Ma-Mi is most definitely one of my happy places. 🤗

Absolutely fantastic place. Food was unreal, fresh and full of flavour! Best authentic Asian cuisine I’ve ever tasted! Most dishes are/ can be made gluten free! Excellent service and great range of drinks!! Will definitely be returning to this awesome place! ���

Great experience, the atmosphere was really nice and peaceful. The food tasted good, and the service was also good. When someone new didn't know something, the more experienced staff came out to help answer anything and didn't leave them fumbling which is great of them. Very happy experience. I went out of my way to tip as this is the best place I've been in Stoke so far.
First visit last night after always living within walking distance but never going. Why did I wait so long? It was a fantastic experience, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. We had 2 courses and then a cocktail to finish and didn't feel rushed at any point. We felt comfortable and chilled out. Very large menu to choose from,not overly expensive. Wide selection of drinks. I'd recommend the Fire Breathing Dragon cocktail, it was so fruity and tasty. We'll definitely be visiting again.
Recently visited Bauhinia Restaurant, was very busy on that particular night with a large party also occurring so the service was a bit slow to start with but it picked up as more staff arrived (we booked a table at their opening time) and everyone was very friendly taking an interest. Food was amazing and very prompt to come out. The kitchen staff was accommodating as they were able to adapt the meal to suit our needs. Lovely decor, atmosphere was great. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent dining environment experience. Fantastic crispy pork fillet and chicken satay. We highly recommend every one to try “The salty pepper French Fries”! Best ever. Organic and Fresh with a little bit spicy taste. I don’t even had chance to take a picture and it’s gone. Wonderful night. Thanks for the polite service.
Visited for Valentine’s Day and it didn’t disappoint. It’s very easy accessible, nice atmosphere, big seating area, and lovely staff. Probably one of the best service I experienced in a Chinese restaurant. Food was outstanding too, came out fast, good range of drinks and decent prices, will definitely come back. Thanks you for a nice dinner.

Nice and spacious restaurant, food is very good especially compared to some others in the area, quite pricey though but then im probably willing to pay for decent food. Service was great too nice and friendly young lady. Would recommend!

If we lived here this would be our go to destination for every Chinese meal. The service was superb, cleanliness also superb, the staff were very friendly and attentive.
The food we had was some of the best we have eaten anywhere.
Basically we could not fault this restaurant it's just a shame we live four hours away.
