We just so happened to stumble across this pub after being at a local beach. All I can say is wow. The garden out the back was particularly beautiful. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and most important to us friendly to our dogs. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back when we’re back in Devon. Thanks The Green Draggon!
A really lovely pub. It was really busy when we went but the staff were so accommodating. I have special dietary needs and they couldn't have been more helpful. It has a great atmosphere and great food and beer. What's not to like?! There was a menu in the pub and they were also cooking pizza in the garden. I'll definitely go again. Probably a good idea to book, especially at weekends.

Another memorable Thanksgiving at The Green Dragon - thank you for all your hard work and organisation. We suspect you may have had some apprehension catering such a large group, but you and your team worked hard to make sure that everyone enjoyed themselves!
Thanks also to Chris and his helpers in the kitchen for miraculously serving 47 people with delicious hot meals at the same time - very nicely done. We already look forward to a repeat next year!

Love this pub ! Beautiful pub, in great surroundings. Good beers, the food is amazing with a great menu and specials. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to get back there.

Visited with my wife over the weekend. Really friendly staff, extensive choice of Ales and Lagers. Knowledgeable staff and a great atmosphere provided by the locals who were chatty friendly and welcoming. Did not eat there but the food looked great. A fantastic place to while away a few hours On a Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon. Thanks for the memories. Well worth a visit if you like a good Old Fashioned pub with some character and characters!
We turned up by chance after a 6hour drive and we were very hungry. They said there was a 40min wait for food and table, but they did us a take away pizza each in 20mins. So we celebrated with a couple of drinks whilst waiting, kids were very happy playing oversized Jenga in the garden whilst waiting. Highly recommend the pizza it is epic especially the mighty meaty x
The atmosphere was lovely. Friendly staff, outside area great for the sports events on TV. Book if you want to eat as very busy.

Nice pub, although didn't eat there the menu was varied and different to usual pub fayre. Was a locals pub but buditors made welcome.
Fantastic family welcome in this cosy, quaint, proper English pub! Lived up to all the good reviews and we enjoyed our pub lunch in such a great atmosphere. Lovely decorative touches throughout, including the dried hops hanging over the bar and the old photos and signs from the area. Only downside is there is very limited parking nearby!
