We were a family of 3 adults and a child, we entered the building and were asked if we’d booked, I apologised and said I didn’t realise I needed too, the waiter said it’s best too but today will be okay, they’re not busy, he then invited us to pick a table. The tables of four are a bit cramped, there was plenty of room so we sat down on some comfy seats set for six. The young waiter returned and asked us if we’d move just in case they get busy, I’ll add here the time was 2:30pm I looked around at all the empty tables a little surprised but we agreed without comment and decided we’d move to the outside seating which was all laid out in a larger seat setting. We had three different meals, they were all reasonable, the homemade kebab will leave you feeling hungry, there isn’t much on it for £15 three squares of chicken and two overly cooked Chorizo pieces but the other two dishes looked better and had a bit more to them. You’re paying for the location and setting which is lovely, the food menu has a nice choice but a little over priced, the staff could be a little friendlier, worth a visit but lots of room for improvement.

Nice picturesque location by the Grand Union canal. Good outside and inside seating on split levels so several short runs of steps. Good was nice enough and reasonable value. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Dogs welcome and so are their owners ;) Plenty of seating inside and outside. Relax along the canal or sit inside and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the swans, canal boats and ducks along your meal or drink. Food is superb, staff warm and Friendly.

Easy to book a table via website. Car park now has a pay at machine parking ticket requirement, however you take the ticket with you into the pub and you can redeem the cost of the ticket against the price of your meal and/or drinks. On arrival, we were given the choice to be seated inside or outside, and as it was a warm evening and the outside space looked nice, we ate outside. Food and drink are ordered at the bar, and an allergy menu is also available. Prices about average for pub chain. Service was prompt and friendly, and all meals were delicious. There is also a nice wooden outdoor play area for children and some great views of the canal.

I am more familiar with the atmospheric Boat Inn across the canal so not sure If I have been before. A very nice modernised traditional inside. Booked a table for food...gets really busy ( lots of families..kiddies playground..) and the car park gets overwhelmed.( Had to use the field car park behind the church.) A Marston's pub with Wainwright or Pedigree. Madge ordered fish and chips. Long wait on "The Long Good Friday." We were warned of an hour wait when we arrived. Luckily the booking is a two hour slot...and it did take 1 hour. All 4 meals very good. The batter on Madge's fish was golden and crispy. Great pie and burger. Chicken salad also VG.

Friendly and attentive staff. Was shown to our table straight away after arriving. Had a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Food service was good and potions were a good size. Prices were great. And a great view from our table as well. Will definitely be back.

Really fast service, even when we hadn’t even booked they still managed to find us a spot near the bar. Food came quick and was definitely serviceable, but some of the staff were a bit off - might have just been a bad day, so not really judging this time round. Can imagine on a sunny day it’s a perfect place for a pint!

We met up with friends, have been here several times before. Food is nice and interesting, we meet on a Monday when it is quite and most other local places are closed. You have to pay to park your car but get the money back when you spend some money at the bar. It's a lovely village and so pretty walking along the canal towpath.

Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. We were asked if we wanted to sit outside (it was a hot sunny day) or inside. We chose inside and asked for a table with a view and a member of staff recommended a table near the window overlooking the canal. The drinks order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. The table was clean. Our food arrived in a good time and was lovely. We had the 2 course lunchtime offer and really enjoyed our choices. We gave our parking ticket over when we went to pay and had the £2 deducted from our bill. We were pleased with service and added a 10% tip to our payment. We used the toilets too and they were clean. Will be back again. Well done to all the staff.

Absolutely loved this place, the food staff and atmosphere were all perfect. Jason the new manager, Toni and the team were so helpful. Families, friends children and dogs are all welcome...I even noticed a narrow boat get a takeaway. The Navigation Inn is set right next to a working canal in the most beautiful scenic area. Enjoy a walk along the towpath before or after your delicious meal. Oh and very reasonably priced too. We'll done team...we will be back.

The pub itself is fantastic, beautiful setting, very clean and dog friendly, great selection of drinks and the food was excellent, probably the best burger I've ever had. Service was excellent and quick. All in all it finished off a fantastic sunny day on the canal. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back soon and recommend to friends and family.

Myself and 6 friends came here this evening and we couldn't fault it! From the moment we walked in, the fabulous, friendly and very attentive staff took care of us. Drinks order was taken straight away, then food orders 5 minutes later. Our food was brought out fast, it was hot, fresh and delicious 😋 I had the mixed grill, and it was the nicest mixed grill I've ever had at a pub/restaurant, lots of beautiful char grilled flavour. Unfortunately the kebabs were off the menu, I'm guessing they were so popular that they'd sold out! We will be back soon as we thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh and the setting is gorgeous with the canal!

Had a good pint sitting in the sunshine at this lovely pub by the canal. Inside the pub has lots of exposed beam and old world charm. A great atmosphere.
