Great little pub and B&B. Stopped here for a night while visiting Longleat. The rooms are a little rough around the edges but are more than acceptable for the price charged. Food was fantastic and, I would say, underpriced. Breakfast was great and just the right amount to get going for the day. Se
A wonderful, cozy spot with engaging and generous people behind the bar and kitchen. The beet burger is brilliant. Perfect for vegetarians. The Poughman’s a great choice for a snack. They also make their own Ale, which is delicious. Highly recommend.
Beautiful rural pub with so much history in the walls. The food is really good and the service is way above average too. Always enjoy stopping in.
Absolutely fabulous pub/b&b. Great hosts, superb food and drink. Warm and welcoming atmosphere and great attention to detail. Firmly on our top favourites list
From the moment of booking was provided with a professional and courteous service. David went out of his way to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Room was warm, comfortable and very adequate for our needs. Dinner was superb with excellent choice and generous portions. Breakfast
Excellent food and reasonable prices, great hosts who make you very welcome.
Quaint village pub. Great food. Good ale and a pool table. Limited parking.
First time we went for dinner since new owners took over. We were not disappointed. They are finally taking this lovely pub to where it should be. The food was delicious; I had homemade scampi - drool and my partner had the Butchers pie.. both of us were over the moon with our dinner. Nice Malbe
Lovely local pub. Great beer and excellent service.
Such a lovely place! Full of character with olde world style, yet bang up to date. A wonderful menu with something for everyone. Friendly, helpful staff and a beautifully presented dining area. Well worth deviating off the main A303 for!

Delicious food, can recommend the Sunday lunch with roast beef
Great village pub. Didn't try food but great range of real ale and ciders. V sociable landlord and decent pub garden. Menu looks very tempting. Will try next time. Recommended.
