Eaten here 3 times now whilst in Middlesbrough for work. Food is good exactly what you'd expect from a Pizza Express however the service is so slow! Every single time I've been here takes ages to get seated then ages to order and ages to get the food. Even when it's not busy.
Pizzas and dough balls did not disappoint! Gorgeous. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean facilities, nice atmosphere - we could all chat without struggling to be heard! Will come again

The food was amazing, great portion sizes and the ability to take leftovers home was nice to have. Service was very slow despite the restaurant not being too busy, but this could have been down to low staffing on a one off.
I came here as a small part of 4, and I have to say that the food was exceptional which was matched with the service. Special shout out to the manager markie for his politeness, which ultimately made the experience for me personally. Would recommend.
Had the most wonderful experience today, waitresses Evie and Harriet were amazing at catering to my dietary requirements and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant! Will definitely be back, see you soon pizza express!
