Took shelter from a torrential downpour on a Saturday lunchtime in this lovely little cafe. Tucked down an alley off Stockton High Street it is very easy to miss, but I'm glad we found it. Staff were lovely and friendly and the cafe was very clean and tidy. It was very busy when we went in but we didn't have to wait long for our food. I ordered the Roast Chicken Dinner, and it was delicious with a good selection of veg,buttery mash and lashings of gravy just how I like it. I will definitely be back.
Went here for the 1st time with family, very friendly Staff and lovely homely atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. Excited to learn they do Gluten Free and they explained what they do to ensure no cross contamination. Ordered cheese and tomato toastie with chips, was lovely and hot. Will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing staff and amazing food... Hygiene is always 5*+ been coming here over 20 years... Well in truly a family atmosphere.... And also caters for all needs... And Jane is a wonder woman when food is about if you don't believe me go try for yourself.
Finally found this gem in Stockton. Lovely homemade food and genuine friendly owner and staff. Will now be a regular customer. Use it or lose it.
The hidden Tearooms really is a hidden gem. Good food at good prices and always well presented on the plate. Real homemade coleslaw and homemade chips. I really can’t fault anything and you’re sure to get great service from the staff. Well done 😁
Go there every Wednesday absolutely delicious home made food my daughter loves the home made quiche and coleslaw I love everything especially the dinner s cabbage and veg dumplings mmm delicious latte coffee to die for wont go anywhere else alway packed see you Wednesday x
This is my go to place when eating out in Stockton on Tees. All the food is home cooked, I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. Some even come with a free dessert. Delicious food and very reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly, polite will go out of their way to help their customers. Well worth a try if you've never been before!
