*Pre- COVID* Me and my partner went for a surprise date night pre lockdown and thought we'd try The Violet Green in Norton. Really nice food, friendly staff, great atmosphere and fortunately pretty close to us. Would definitely recommend it. That.. and the 12 yr old Japanese whiskey 🥃🇯🇵
Birthday lunch. Absolutely delicious. Very unique styling. Reminiscent of Caravan Saray in Baku. Food is beautifully prepared, staff are attentive but not obtrusive. Nice wine selection. What's not to like
It was a fantastic experience and one I will have no hesitation in repeating. I had the most wonderful steak. It was done to my complete satisfaction and just as I requested it. The surroundings are very quaint and cosy and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and helpful an
1st experience of Violet Green :Had a delicious meal here last night,Venison cooked to perfection for my hubby,I had chicken so succulent, ample food on the plates. Puddings were fantastic and huge portions. Great service and lovely ambience.

Excellent food. The vegetarian options were excellent. The steak was one of the best I've had and cooked perfectly rare. Did I need the oxtail pie with it? Probably not, but I'm happy it was there. Cauliflower cheese croquettes were something I could just eat a massive bowl of.
We have been wanting to try The Violet Green for some time now and we couldnt of been happier with our night. It was our wedding anniversary and it coincided with Violet Green opening again. It was very clean, hand gel in various places and spray to clean the toilet, glass screens have been put up o
Thoroughly enjoyed the £20 a head chop night. First time we have visited and will go again. Liked the set meal format menu which allows you to have off it one drink of your choice, select one from the various starters and chops and then two side dishes for one inclusive price. We both had paid the a
