Visited to celebrate a new job 😊. Lovely pub restaurant, been a few times. Olde world style pub, plenty of eating areas inside and out. Staff great, food gorgeous, good quality and home made chips a bonus, main meals good portion sizes. Not bad prices compared to other eateries around the area. Only downside was table, facing a wall next to cellar door. Would still recommend and visit again.

Visited today for lunch for the first time in 8 years. Was just as good as I remembered it to be. Menu was very varied, something for everyone, great for GF, vegetarians/ vegans. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Atmosphere can't be beaten, very classic pub, decor and seating is so homey and traditional. Food was lovely, however my only complaint is the portion size of the coleslaw. For £9.50 I got a chicken wrap (was very big to be fair), a fair sized portion of chips and 1 mouthful of coleslaw. The coleslaw is gorgeous so would be nice to have a bit more of it as it's listed as a main component of the dish. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

Delicious food with a wonderful outdoor seating area. Lots of parking spaces. A nice place to enjoy food and cold drinks while being out in the sun. They have a menu for dogs as well.

Been twice before and food been amazing but we went today (Sunday) and we waited nearly one hour for food and when it arrived my husband's veggie burger was cold had no halloumi in which was on menu. My food was disappointing. The Sunday lunches that were being served to people looked really nice. So I recommend on a Sunday go for Sunday lunch.

Great food and good portions. I had the Hot Shot Parmesan pictured. The Sticky Toffee pudding was a great surprise and the best I've had- very moist and soft sponge.

Haven’t been here for some years, so thought we would try it out again. We ate the Sunday dinner and it was excellent. Service from ordering drinks to clearing the table was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

We were a large group of 14 and had a great time celebrating my grandson becoming a teenager. Very good food for all and no problem taking our own birthday cake in. Recommended
