Visited wheelbirks a few times now food is good . prices as you may expect for this type of place but good portions well presented and if you are a tea drinker hats off one of the few places where you get your tea in a pot along with a pot of hot water well done this this is how it should be done not a tea bags in a cup with no where to put the bag once you take it out . Will definitely go back
Such a great place to escape to in good or bad weather. Beautiful food, great indoor play space for little ones, lovely outdoor park with cows and chickens and a great little shop.
We held our sons first birthday party here, staff were brilliant and so helpful, they couldn't do enough for us, before and during the party! venue was perfect for little ones to play inside and out, food was great quality and cake was delicious! Would highly recommend, great value for money and of course the ice cream was as good as always! Thanks to the staff!
Excellent place for a meal and lovely coffee, outside area with picnic benches under apple trees, this is set on a farm the kids loved the jersey cows. Well worth a visit

Great day at kick golf and had an ice cream ... what I really loved was seeing staff wash hands before serving. The staff also aknowledged my son and chatted to him X very friendly

Absolutely loved being here with my children yesterday. Although it was extremely busy the staff couldn't do enough for people. Great place with fantastic staff.
Lovely surroundings , very friendly staff and the hubby said its the best breakfast he's ever had.....the ice cream was divine too....we will definately be returning !!!

If your driving along the A69 and fancy some amazing food...and incredible ice-cream please stop of here ....it's about 10 minutes off the main road but well worth the drive. It's a bit of a tricky place to find so pop the address into your satnav.
The venue is good for kids and family.
The gift shop is great and there are some nice items to purchase.

Great relaxing environment with small play area for the kids and a lovely orchard to sit in during the summer months. We visiting the farm for open farm day and kids love it.
Really good local cafe. The best ice cream. Photos of empty plates just prove how nice it was. Plus, dogs are allowed in outside areas.
Visit this place quite regularly, and especially in the nice sunny weather like a lot of visitors due to their ice cream selection available, their outside sitting and playing area in their orchard, and the ability to see their animals. Recently we booked animal hour for our daughter and she really enjoyed the experience and the host was great with them. It's a nice half day out

Very family friendly though, not to my liking if you don’t like screaming kids running around.
I give it 5* based on usual custom. We collect our milk every week and enjoy a fantastic ice cream while we are there.
However this week I decided to have a light lunch. My choice was baked potato with beans and cheese.
The potato had been cooked some time earlier and reheated. Parts of the potato was cold and not properly cooked, and parts warm. None of it was hot.
I’ll just stick to my ice cream in future.
Lovely interior, very cosy. Delicious ice cream from their own Jersey cows. Fresh toasted ham and cheese toasties with French fries. Very tasty. A nice large outside seating area, too!

Amazing and so relaxing place, the outdoor area is absolutely beautiful. Inside the café is tastefully decorated with small play area for toddlers,the staff is polite and friendly...

Absolutely delightful! After a morning at the stables, we arrived cold and hungry. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the cafe area was cosy and beautiful. Delicious coffee and scrumptious melted brie panninis! Very impressed, and this is our new favourite place for a coffee and a natter after riding the horses.
