Davenport Fish & Chips - Stockport - Photo album

I eat chips here after college sometimes, they are some of the nicest chips I have ever eaten. I would 100% recommend to anyone else.
Since moving over from Canada 3 years ago, this has got to be the best fish and chips place I have ever tried. Batter is light and crispy nicely seasoned with some salt and vinegar at the end. Fish was flaky and succulent. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy from the inside. Mushy p
You need deep pockets but the fish are huge, as are the portions of chips. Really nice, clean chippy. Only minor downside is that the curry sauce is the spicy one, rather than the fruity one you'd normally expect from an english chippy. Very nice though!!
Best chippy in the area (and the best I've ever had!). Their gravy, curry sauce and battered sausages are out of this world 🤤 And of course the chips are delicious as well. Good portion sizes and great value. Especially impressed with how they've handled the Covid situation: all staff wearing masks
Tasty very fresh food , lovely service and very clean . Highly recommend this place .
Without a doubt the best chippy in the area, fresh food , spotlessly clean and the staff accommodate well to adjustments to foods
This place is a hidden gem. The staff are lovely and there Fish & Chips are fantastic. Lunch time the portions are enough for two !!!! Came here with a dementia client & elderly clients, they love it xx
Delicious fish and chips and great value too. Lovely, freshly cooked cod, firm, crispy chips and a generous helping with a Standard portion. A meal for two less than £10. The best in the area by far.
Delicious.... Great hardworking staff... Efficient and fast service.. Lovely clean chippie.. Smashing fish and chips.. Good portions.. Go there you won't regret it. It's 😋 yummy
Best chippy in and around the area. Excellent quality and service. Going again shortly 😀
The food is cooked to perfection the staff really friendly, this is a very popular place so sometimes there's a short wait for your order as they only cook so many items at once. This shows there attention to detail, and commitment to cooking great quality food.
Really good fish and chips. But be prepared for a long queue at busy times, sometimes it goes out the door, but it's worth it! Friendly staff and there are plenty of places to park up nearby if you're coming from further afield.
