It's a great pub. Community owned, with a good local feel. Everyone we spoke to were really welcoming.
This is a great pub, with quite a degree of history trying to survive. It's a pub that often might look shut to the uninitiated but just try the door. It's friendly, mental on nights when Stockport County are playing & understandably so Cask beer range, fantastic the bar is well stocked & just go &
A really good pub to visit after a game at County. Friendly to home and away fans.

Great cosy pub with friendly owner.
Friendly welcome as first time here, chatty staff and a decent choice of drinks and fair prices. Old fashioned pub in a bit of a time rut to be honest, but was clean and unique to see places like this still exist.
Excellent beer selection and very friendly staff and customers. Unlike any other pub in the area (country?!) Small, intimate and friendly. Great range of constantly rotating cask. Mostly older crowd

Good beer. Nice atmosphere, lots of people enjoying the selections of beer. Nice community pub.

For a laugh, a chat to a wide variety of people and some great ale....it's the place to be. Oh, and the folks behin
Almost a textbook definition of idiosyncratic, this is a simply marvellous pub. You can expect the beer offering (cask) to focus on the pale side of things and the condition of the beers is excellent. There is an abundance of little artefacts that help to make this place (by no means a big pub, yet
Primarily a locals pub with a quirky interior and equally quirky welcome. Cask ale is to the fore with up to six real ales always on offer, plus a cider. Saved from extinction a few years ago by a buyout by local people interested in saving this gem for others to enjoy. Underwent a thorough refurbis
