Last minute visit to this lovely spot for Sunday lunch, before heading up to the local Moovin festival. Staff were lovely, extremely helpful fitting us in and couldn't have done more for us. We had a party of family and friends here. Staff were really friendly and accommodating in helping to arrange and on the day too. Everyone was amazing and the buffet food was all home cooked and tasted really good! I would highly recommend and would definitely book to come here again.
Stayed overnight in our motorhome in the massive rear car park. Had a few pints of well kept White Rat from Ossett Brewery whilst watching the rugby. Great atmosphere and good selection of beers. I come here once every year for buckle and boots festival. The food here is really really good. It really is exceptional. The pad beef Sunday roast, it's the best beef I've ever had on a Sunday roast. It really is that good. Also the staff and the service is amazing. It's the real deal.

What an amazing pub and eatery! Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too
